Worst Experience at University Surgery Center.
Such a waste of time, worst doctor and staff ever. My mom had her appointment at 10 AM, and a day before was switched to 11 AM. However, we were there by 10:30, just in case we had paper work to sign. By the time it was 11 AM, we were told the Doctor was behind on his schedule. We decided to wait it out since my mom had been preparing for this procedure within 2 days prior. Then other people started arriving and they would go in, so we felt neglected and asked to which they said she was the next patient in line. Within thirty minutes a different nurse came to inform us he was super behind and it would probably be around 3 more hours of waiting. We left immediately. Super unprofessional on their parts! Avoid this doctor and his staff.

Too difficult to communicate with the office. Closed when they should be open on two occasions. Can't reach them by phone and they do not return phone messages.

Avoid . Check the other reviews.
"If you have a pressing problem, avoid them. They will give you an appointment that you have to wait two months for, then cancel two days before, because they finally realise they don't like your insurance. Two months you could have been seeing someone else. How many people have they killed this way"

Extremely disappointed
My husband had an unfortunate experience with Dr. Canale and his scheduling staff for a routine colonoscopy. Dr. Canale’s office scheduled my husband in October for a procedure in mid-December. After 3 days of prepping for his procedure, he was informed that Dr. Canale’s office had CANCELED his appointment weeks before his procedure. He was never informed of the cancellation. The Surgey Center was kind enough to squeeze him in that day. Unfortunately, my husband had a loss of oxygen during the procedure and had to be rushed to a local emergency room. Before, during and after my husband’s procedure, Dr. Canale’s staff never reached out to him. Two other doctors explained his loss of oxygen and why he needed to be admitted to the hospital. Although Dr. Canale performed the procedure, he did not speak with us post procedure nor during my husband’s two day recovery in the hospital. By late January, Dr. Canale’s office had not contacted us regarding results. We were extremely disappointed i

(I went in , I went out) ...Woke up , I felt like if I was asleep for 5 minutes ! I had no pain & I felt like I hadn't had any procedure done ! PS : According to results.....I was clean as a whistle !!!

I spent two hours in waiting room. When I finally got in a exam room Dr Canale came in asked if I was having tummy problems. I barely said yes before he gets up and walks out . A minute later sticks his head in room and says the nurse will see me. By the time I got out of the exam room he was going out the door. They overbook, overlook and don't care about the people that they are treating. It's all about the money not the people. Do not go to this worthless doctor. I was rushed in the office I wasn't going to be rushed through the procedure. I cancelled it !!! Don't go to Dr Canale.

Dr. Canale came into exam room and didn't know my name or even look at my chart to see what was bothering me. He just said talk to his nurse to schedule a colonoscopy. Never examined me in any way.

3 hour wait for consult. Staff has attitude problem. Wouldn't recommend! do too how we were treated. Staff bailed on Dr at 5pm and stated I'm not staying here he'll be here till 7pm. Shows you their is no Respect for his Business..

Very patient,courteous, directly to the point, nice to my child with me. He is a 12 star on a scale of 10. The entire staff were helpful, kind, and understanding. His office were fabulous about getting me in to see the doctor when I was having a lot of pain.
