went to him in early 2024 to get info for a hifu procedure on my prostate. he informed me i was a candidate, so i moved forward and had it done in dec. 2024. he said recovery would be quick and fairly painless. And it was! procedure went well day of, nurses there were great at the ucsd campus point location. went in at 6am,home by 11:30 am. i am 2 mos out and its like i had nothing done at all. i am amazed at the results, he and staff were professional and on time for all appts. he explained everything to me, and took some of the stress out of it for me. thank you dr. des-loges

Terrible communicator and blew off serious medical complications post surgery. Ignored patient and family member concerns. Terrible bed side manor. Definitely do not recommend anyone to see him.

My family member that I care for had a prostatectomy done by Dr. Desloges and nearly died due to the care he received from this doctor and UCSD. All this doctor did was deny any wrong doing. He never showed an ounce of care for my family member nor did he want to investigate why there were complications and he had to be rushed to the ER via ambulance post his surgery. Desloges only blamed my family member for the complications (which after speaking to other physicians and nurses, my family member had no fault in these complication). Do not see this physician.

Amazing staff and physician
Everything about my visit was excellent. The doctor was attentive, friendly, and efficient which was greatly appreciated. The staff also went well above and beyond to take care of my child during the visit due to a last minute school closure. They set him up with a movie and snacks so that I could have my operation as planned. Wonderful people all around!
