Dr Kirby is the best opthomologist I have ever see
Saved my husband’s eyesight after being hit with a golf ball. After experiencing some double vision she insisted I get a brain MRI. Found out I had a brain tumor that needed to be removed. She saved my life. Eye exams take several hours but are worth every second! She gets to know you and treats every patient like family! She is an amazing woman!!

Saved my Eyesight
I had an event which affected my vision and wasn't sure what to do, since my career depends on 20/20 vision. I spoke with Dr. Kirby personally that morning, who recognized the symptoms of this emergency, and instructed me to present to her office immediately. Examination, diagnosis and laser surgery treatment were performed on that very day! Thank you Dr. Kirby and her staff for courteous, compassionate and critically timely care of my visual problem.

I started seeing Dr Kirby in 1998 when I lost partial vision in my right eye. She is very thorough, professional, and has the patients best interest in mind.

It was the best eye exam that I have had in my 81 yrs. old of seeing an ophthalmologist. Very thorough, and comprehensive. Only problem was the wait time. The first visit, they will tell you, lasts for 3-4 hrs. Mine lasted 4.25 hrs. I waited over two hours for her final dispensation in seeing me and doing the recommending. She has no concept of time for her patients. She spent a lot of time and explained everything very diligently, but I found the waiting time inexcusable.

She is awesome. Answered all my questions twice, very patient, understanding, and informative. Then she did my cataract surgery and blew my mind. She exceeded all my expectations. I have worn glasses since third grade (now 60) and two days post surgery no glasses. I could not be happier. I have recommended her to every one I know. Several have ditched their doctors and made appointments with her. My husband switched doctors after 5 years with his guy and loves her. She is the best.
