Didn’t feel safe
Dr. Vieta was the OB hospitalist on call at Banner Gateway. I went in to be checked for something else and ended up being in labor. I wasn’t planning on delivering at the hospital but they wanted to emit me since I was already there and in labor. I told the nurses and doc on call before dr Vieta that I didn’t want to have PIT. Everyone was so nice and on board with just letting me labor. I was there only 4 hours before dr, Vieta came on shift. The nurse briefed her and she came straight in and said “you’ve been laboring 4 hours. Either you have PIT or go home.” She never introduced herself, asked how I was doing, asked what my plans were etc. she was so cold and rude. I knew if anything happened to me , she would be the last person I would want to help me. I did not feel safe with her at all. So I went home and delievered my baby there with my midwife. Dr. Vieta is the last person I would want as my OB doc.

Dr vista was my obgyn during the pregnancy of my stillborn son. She came in to deliver him with several rings on and a leather jacket and never said a word to me. When I went back to her for my postpartum check up I was left in the waiting room with pregnant women and new moms. By the time I was taken back to the room I was in tears. She walked in and with disgust asked me what I was crying for. I was so hurt and confused, thinking does she not remember??? I said because my baby died. She said “well I was expecting that after your first ultrasound. Why are you surprised?” I said “you never told me that! You sent me to all these specialist. I never knew that him passing was even a possibility.” She then said “I’ll come back when you pull yourself together.” And walked out. Didn’t even offer me a tissue.

Dr. Vieta was the doctor at the hospital when my daughter went to labor and delivery for contractions. The Dr. rushed her out within 30 minutes of being there. Her bedside manners are horrible. Even to the point that she laughed at my daughter and mocked her for "being happy" while thinking that she was in labor. Telling my daughter that she wouldn't be smiling if she was in labor. This is my daughters first time being pregnant and the Dr. was very unprofessional to be in such a position for woman who are going through this special time.

Very little time was spent with me although I was a new patient. None of my serious concerns or issues were addressed. Also onlo a pap smear was completed. I did not receive a full examination. No breast or pelvic exam was done. Dr. Vieta has a poor bedside manner. Also she was 45 minutes late arriving at the office, although I had the first appointment of the day.

She is not very kind of helpful. Always feel like I am rushed and that for some reason me being here is bothersome. I will be finding a new doctor.

I went to Dr. Vieta for two years and she never once sat down and asked any personal questions about myself or my history. Both times I visited her for my yearly checkups, she was 45 minutes late - and I was the first appointment of the day! The final straw for me was receiving a bill in the mail for a test that Dr. Vieta gave me without my consent, and then expected me to pay for.

Can we choose no stars? Because that is what I rate her and her bedside manners. Most horrible doctor I've ever encountered.

I have been a patient for Dr. Vieta for sometime. She is an excellent in what she does, however she sometimes rushes the process and makes you get out of the office as soon as possible. I give her benefit of doubt for this as she is busy most of the time with a lot of patients. But the small time she gives you her attention she delivers quality service.

She rushed through the examinations, and barely listened to what I was asking. I had to go back for a second appointment because she didn't listen to what I was saying at the first appointment. She seemed annoyed at every one of my visits, and I won't be going back.
