Dr. Jumana Al-Deek, DO

I am a person who has never had insurance and am looking to get in control of my health. I booked an appointment with this dr and waited an hour to be seen. Once I was seen I was asked if I would like to make this dr my pcp, I said I wasn’t sure because of some reviews I read but am currently looking for a doctor so hopefully if the visit goes well I’m good.Apparently this offended the dr and I was told I could not be seen at all. My bad for being honest and saying I am looking for a new doctor but I can’t commit to a forever relationship with someone who I’m about to have my first appointment with.Way to prove me wrong by doing the exact thing that the other reviews said you should did to people. This doctor will just drop you and refuse service for any little thing and I’m assuming the other people are completely valid in their bad reviews.

Dr. Al-Deek was kind and knowledgeable. She's personable and prompt. Please don't judge her by the negative reviews.

I’m in the process of changing my PCP OUT of this group. The office staff is nice, but this doctor needs more education in the art of professional care-giving. Just WOW- I think I’m fairly easy and forgiving but after 3 visits with her and a TON of tests- nope.

Its amazing how one person can ruin someone's business reputation so I thought Id chime in about my experience. I just had my first appointment with Dr Al-Deek and the Family Medical Center. I was a little nervous after reading some negative reviews here and elsewhere, but I had an incredible experience. Some complaints I read were that the office staff was unfriendly, long wait times, and difficulty reaching by phone. I experienced none of this. My appointment was at 9am, I was taken to exam room ahead of schedule and the Dr came in promptly after my vitals were taken. She addressed all of my concerns, was very kind, compassionate, and thorough. She took time to get to know me and address my concerns. I had my labs done onsite and she scheduled me for a followup in two weeks. Everyone in the office was friendly. Not one person passed me without saying hello or good morning. I dont really love doctors offices, but I am so happy I found this one and didnt listen to the negativity.

50+ minutes late to appointment. No apology and instead voids appointment and offers me to leave. DO NOT GO TO DR. AL-DEEK

Waited over an hour past my appointment and was finally seen by Dr Al Deek. I told her about wait and she voided my appointment and told me I can leave. Extremely unprofessional, DO NOT GO HERE.
