My wife had a precancerous lesion removed from her arm and another lesion that required stitches. when we came back to have the stitches removed, she asked the nurse to ask Dr Platzer to check on the wound where she had the pre cancerous lesion removed, as it was not healing well and emitted a discharge. The nurse abruptly and rudely told her that she needed another appointment to check the open wound, as the appointment was only to have the stitches removed, nothing else.

From the office staff up front to the medical assistant in the room and of course Dr. Platzer was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a doctor and office. Hats off to all! Highly recommend!

Dr. Platzer is the real thing. The first time I saw him I had a blood blister on my lower lip that NO-ONE would touch because of bleeding. He asked me if I want it gone and after 100 no's by other doctors I said yes. He did it in a few minutes and it's been gone now for 8 years. Now I have been notified that I have some sort of cancer on my head and I will let no one get near me except Dr Platzer. Hard to book him, he's always busy. Les Gugel

Dr. Platzer is an extremely competent doctor. He has excellent people/patient skills.

I've been seeing Dr. Platzer regularly for five years and he is an excellent doctor. I've had multiple basal cell skin cancers which resulted in frequent visits and this turned out to be a very good thing because on one of those visits, Dr. Platzer found a mole that was melanoma. Because of Dr. Platzer's skill, the melanoma was found early and had not spread. If you spent your childhood in the sun like I did, you need a good dermatologist and I would highly recommend Dr. Platzer.

I don't know where to start..... First, they charged me too much for my deductible (confirmed by UHC). Second, you prescribed me medications before any blood work was done. I was later sent for blood work and had to wait almost two weeks for my results - that no one ever called me in to review. When I did finally hear from anyone it was through a voicemail. The results came back negative and they still want to see me. Nope! I will never go to that office again. And I advise you not to.

Dr. Platzer is the most caring doctor. He is so attentive with my two special needs sons. I would recommend him to friends/family members. Appointments are on time and staff is courteous. The office setting is very clean and comfortable. One can watch screen for informative medical procedures and gain knowledge. Myself and my family have been seeing Dr. Platzer for some years and will continue. I know that we are all getting the best care possible. Dr. Platzer listens and is very patient.

In the past I've had SKs removed, one of which was covered by insurance. During a visit in April I told Dr. Platzer in advance my concern about cost, such as skin tags, etc. not being covered by insurance, and the cost. All he said was, Really? and proceeded to use liquid nitrogen to spray 4-5 spots without giving me a diagnosis or option (patient choice). I paid my co-pay of $50, and then received a bill for $125 for destruction of flat warts. Not bad for 5 minutes,

Excellent, whole staff are very pleasant. Dr. Platzer Is very professional and friendly, makes you feel comfortable discussing even sensitive issues :-)
