Highly Skilled Pancreatic Surgeon
I found Dr. Idrees to be an excellent surgeon, very well experienced with the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer. He's very personable and took all the time my wife and I needed to address all of our concerns and questions. I also had a 6-month course of chemo post surgery by Dr. Dana Cardin as part of my care team. My surgery was 2 years ago this coming April, and my chemo ended a year ago last December. Today I am totally cancer free. If I didn't have a barely visible scar, I would not know anything was done. I do what I want, eat what I want (watch the fat) and could not be happier with my outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Idrees and my entire Vanderbilt care team. I can't thank them enough.

A highly skilled physician who provided excellent care to me. There's not a day that goes by without me reflecting back on such an awesome health care experience. I've been in health care for 25 plus years and have never experienced or witnessed the high quality of care I received at Vanderbilt. Even though it's been almost two years I am thankful as if it were yesterday. Dr. Idrees, again I would like to say Thank you.
