Dr. Karen Ringwald, MD

Dr. Ringwald became my rheumatologist in 2004 when Dr Sanders left. I was in very poor physical health following an heart attack and full of inflammation. Und e her care I was able to re t urn to work and retired at 74 . She is so dedicated. She personalizes your care and interacts with other doctors to integrate your care. She and my cardiologist are my heros. Many of my family members have transferred to her care.

I have been lucky enough to have 10 of the best doctors in the area. Dr. Ringwald is right there in the top two. I have had 3 Rheumatologists over the past 20 years. My first was great. Caring, Thorough and knew my health well. (she retired) Her replacement was a modern, hands off approach. It did not go well, which brings me to Dr. Ringwald. I have Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Myopathy, and other Autoimmune diseases. On my first visit, she gave me a thorough exam and labs. Every subsequent appointment has been the same. She is a hands on doctor that listens, asks pertinent questions, and answers yours. Through exams and labs, she made sure that I had the conditions as were suspected, and treats them accordingly. I have been seeing her for more than 3 years, and each time she spends at least 30 minutes or more with me. Her and the staff make me feel as if I am not just a patient, but a friend. Very compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable.

I see her for treatment of lupus and ankylosing spondylitis . I trust her ! Ive been to two other before her and they just didn't care to enough . I am currently looking to move closer to her practice since the drive is far for me . God has sent her to me she is an angle !

Since covid she is not checking me like when i started going there. She doesn't check my ears ,my nose. And my eyes. I have a autoimmune disease and she always checked me good. Now she doesn't and I feel like why should I go. I even said something about my ears and nose and she wouldn't look at it. I was disappointed.

Dr. Ringwald has been my rheumatologist for 15 years. I came to her as a 45 year old who could hardly walk or lift a pillow. Now I am able to lift my slippery grandkids out of the bathtub. I am so grateful for her and her wisdom but especially for her kindness to me and also my daughter who she is caring for also. Best Doctor ever!

Dr Ringwald is my 3rd rhemy and I never look for another. She actually listens to you. I have had adverse reactions to several of the meds and instead of doubting me the patient, she worked twice as hard to get me something that worked safely. Other doctors could take lessons from her. Her staff is superb also and they actually get answers for you and call you back!

She is caring, personal and informative. Her staff is efficient.

Dr Ringwald is beyond awesome. In a world where medical care has been forced into mediocrity, she maintains standards that are commendable and well above the norm. She actually cares about you and your treatment unlike the previous one at another group that dismissed me before I walked in the door and couldn’t wait to get me out of the office so she could send a bill and forget about me. I chose the right doc and the right group to get the treatment that I need. I can’t say enough about her professionalism, her knowledge and willingness to actually participates in your wellness. She is not only the best choice, but the only choice.

I've been seeing Dr. Ringwald for several years for Lupus. She is a very genuine person who listens and treats you as a whole person. She is very knowledgeable and if you ask something she doesn't know she will look it up. She cares about all your health issues, not just what she is seeing you for.

Dr. Ringwald is caring, patient and knowledgeable. I wish I every doctor could have her bed side manner. She listens and really cares about what is going on with you. She definitely goes above and beyond to try and help you feel better. I recommend her highly.
