No-showed to a D&C after miscarriage.
After enduring a miscarriage, my primary obgyn let me know that a D&C was the most safe route for my circumstances. Because of scheduling and the timeline of when I miscarried the surgery needed to be done next day. My primary let me know that her colleague Dr.Cvar would be performing my D&C . I went to the center the next morning and waited 2 hours for Dr.Cvar . Prepped, ready, and having nurses tell me that they don’t know where she is. Then I had nurses telling me that she’d be on her way. She never showed. The worst part is the staff was not in the least bit surprised. So there I was literally stood up by a “doctor”, bleeding , with my passed baby still in the womb , waiting to be treated . Completely inhumane. Based on the reviews of her surgical work I think it may have been dodged bullet in the long run - nonetheless what type of doctor says they’re coming and then just bails! Run from providence , run from Cvar!

Every appointment I get the sense she cares more about getting paid than about me as a patient. I waited 50 min for her (because she admitted to forgetting I was even there) only for her to come in and spew information at me for 5 min before rushing out. I then proceeded to be chased down by the medical assistant to get a blood test ordered by the doctor that was not discussed with me. She also ordered a prescription without any discussions with me for a totally unnecessary medication (I don't even have the symptoms it is prescribed for). I thought I could bear with her bad bedside manner as a second time mom with a healthy pregnancy, but she is truly bad.

If you value your quality of life avoid her at all costs. Twice she performed partial hysterectomy and both times she made complications. First time was my bladder 2nd time was even worse and she cut my ureter and I needed a nephrostomy tube for months as it was not noticed in time. Then another major surgery to fix it. Begged for 3 days for someone to check my kidney and she refused. Discharged me repeatedly and wouldn't take the time to care. Once it was discovered that she had cut my ureter her words were, " Oops, ovarian tube and ureter look the same" Avoid, avoid avoid at all costs. She's condescending and arrogant and doesn't really care for patients. She will continue to get away with it. It's on you to avoid her. You cannot sue her as it is difficult to prove she is being negligent. Her words were this has only happened 3 times and twice has been with you. I doubt it's been only 3 times. Stay away. Far away.

I have been going to Dr Cvar for 20 years. She’s been my OB with two pregnancies and deliveries. She is a 10 out of 10 doctor. She is straightforward, thorough and kind. I would, and do recommend her any chance I get!

Dr. Cvar is incredibly rude to nursing staff. I was embarrassed for her. She’s arrogant and completely self absorbed. I heard about her delivering her twins more times than I care to remember. She has terrible bedside manner and I question how competent she is as an OB. Choose another OB if you are considering her. Just read the reviews if you’re unsure...you will notice a trend.

I switched to Dr. Cvar during my 32 weeks of pregnancy. I didnt know her but my first visit, she took the time and answered all my questions that my previous doctor failed to inform me about. She monitored me every week till i went to labor. She took care of me very well during my labor and during my E-CS. Highly recommended doctor. Very sweet and gentle, very knowledgeable doctor.

My husband & interviewed a few doctors & midwifes and in the the end we chose Dr. Cvar to deliver our first born. Through out my prenatal check ups I felt our relationship with the docter become closer & that made feel more confident as my labor quickly approached. At the end of my labor Dr. Cvar gave me a motivating pep talk that I had to hear in order to find strength within. If your looking for a kind, loving, funny and professional docter, I recommend Dr. Cvar!

I would not recommend Dr. Cvar unless a woman wants genital mutilation to occur during childbirth. I was clear I wanted as natural a birth as possible, but was bullied into pitocin and an epidural. Dr. Cvar was in a hurry, didn't let me push through 3 contractions before she performed a severe episiotomy. I suffered fecal incontinence for over a year postpartum because she cut my anus and I have a horrible scar since she cut me so far and left a flap of tissue on the outside. Unnecessary!

Dr Cvar is wonderful! I met her while I was in the ER, and she was so gentle, kind and considerate towards my condition, and made me so much more at peace with what was happening. She followed with the same attitude the next day, and for my follow-up appointment at her office, where she spent some quality time just talking to me; about my condition, healing, and moving forward. I could not have asked for a better doctor! Her office nurse, Holly, is also incredible!

I waited 50 minutes without being called and left. My mother was seen by this doctor last week and also waited 50 mins. in the waiting room, then 45 mins. in a paper gown before the MD came in. She called me crying from the parking lot-she said she felt humiliated and the MD had no time for a question-she told my Mom "make another appt." Appalling

Rude, condescending and her office staff is just as rude and unkind. Would not recommend this practice especially if you are first time mom looking for a joyous and meaningful experience. Your dreams will be crushed. Additionally the office is not very nice or very clean.

Dr Cvar was recommended but never have I been more disgusted or disappointed in a Doctor. It was clear she felt I had enough children already and should not have more. She dissuaded me from having another child by telling me at my age (36) I could have twin daughters with Down syndrome. During my pregnancy she misread ultrasounds, pushed for early D&C's, and made devastating medical decisions that ultimately caused a miscarriage of a healthy baby.

Thank you again for your caring, personal and professional care. she is one of the only providers I really feel heard and helped. Dr Cvar is no longer a doctor I would refer to any of my friends or family. My last visit left me in shock and disbelief. She had a horrible bedside manner. This is a doctor who had seen me for 10+ years and she's no longer that doctor I met 10 years ago. It's not appropriate for a doctor to talk about insurance companies and when she does or doesn't get paid. Or how busy she is. She was rude and heartless and very unprofessional in explaining the situation of my early pregnancy.
