Pick a new OB. I am high risk with a history of preeclampsia and postpartum cardiomyopathy. She shows no empathy and literally acts like it’s an inconvenience to do her job. Currently 36 weeks pregnant and have only seen her a handful of times but everytime is the same thing. High risk OB recommended i deliver between 38-39 weeks. No induction has been scheduled. When i questioned why she pointed the blame on other people when ultimately it’s up to her. She gave me a window in which i could be induced but i don’t see her again until after that. I will be refusing to allow her to deliver my baby. I feel like she is literally gonna harm me or my baby with how careless and uninvolved she is.

Couldn’t recommend less.
Dr. Lewis treated me incredibly coldly and uncaring during both appointments I had with her. It felt like I was being pressured into surgery and left her office in tears after asking to reschedule, because she was upset with me for doing so and reprimanded me. My diagnosis, options, or test results were never discussed with me. She scheduled me for surgery before even scheduling an ultrasound to see what was causing my issues. She scheduled it during our 15 minute long intake appointment I had with her in which she didn’t look at me to be 10 days after this appt.then got mad and scolded me for rescheduling. I was never contacted about a follow-up appointment despite being told they would do so, and I was not contacted to discuss my test results that indicate I may have extremely serious issues. Seems like a blessing in disguise. It seems like she is more concerned with scheduling as many surgeries as possible rather than caring for her patients. I do not recommend seeking her for care.

Cold and rude
I watched my sister birth with her recently. She is short and disinterested in the thoughts of women. She makes decisions FOR her patients instead of asking them what they want. Her patient contact is less than 10 min. She does not listen. Its almost as if shes hyperfocused on one thing to where she cant hear anything from anyone else. During labor she will come in to break water, and to deliver and leaves right after. No patience. I cannot understand for the life of me why women choose to have babies in hospitals when this is the kind of care they get. This is why I went to a midwife to deliver at home. This woman in particular could really care less about the women she is supposed to be serving.

Incompetent, Rude, and Unprofessional
Waited 6mos to see Dr. Lewis. She spend about 10 min with me, refused to address 2 of my 3 concerns, didn’t do a much needed pap, was incredibly disrespectful, and told me I needed surgery. They scheduled it for 3 months out. My pcp had to do the pap. I messaged them to alert of abnormal results and was brushed off. At my pre op the doc got mad that I had a pap and that it was abnormal and scrambled to schedule a colposcopy. I also had to fight to get her to listen about my diagnoses that may affect surgery and to get pain management on board. During cool appt she rushed, refused to communicate or answer questions, and was very rough and uncaring. At surgery she provided no information on what procedure would entail, what to expect after, or how to do aftercare. She continued to refuse to answer questions and did not provide info to my SO as well. I’m now possibly dealing with an infection and tissues growing together that shouldn’t and have had to do my own research. Do NOT trust her.

Lack of care
Through out my entire pregnancy, anytime I met with Dr. Lewis I felt as if I was bothering/inconveniencing her. Kelly Kimbrell was a ray of sunshine who I wished could have delivered my baby. The delivery was terrible, the dr came in for 5 minutes. Never communicated with me about what was going on. The nurses at mercy are almost just as bad. I don’t even think my catheter was ever removed during the time I started to push. Post delivery care was a joke at mercy. Highly recommend not using Lewis or Mercy for delivery of a precious baby.

Please pick another doctor when looking for a OBGYN. She was my OB during my pregnancy but I ended up having a miscarriage at 16 weeks. When I went in for an appointment following this, she came into the room acting like I was taking up too much of her time. She didn't read my chart so she bluntly asked me why I was there. I told her why and that I had gone to the ER 2 days prior. The ER doctor told me to follow up with my primary doctor. She didn't bother to do an ultrasound on me to see if I passed everything. It was an incomplete miscarriage and I ended up back in the ER 2 weeks later with excessive bleeding. I was once again told to see my primary doctor and all she did for me that time was order blood work 6 weeks later.Again, PLEASE find another doctor because she can care less.

Horrible provider! At 28 weeks 4 days I was excited to finally meet my OB Dr. Kayci Lewis for the 1st time after working with the amazing NP-Kelly Kimbrell. I patiently waited 1 1/2 hours for her to come into the room out of breath, she’d stated she delivered 3 babies today totally understandable. However her demeanor towards me turned as soon as she sat down, she was very rude and rushed. I started asking questions regarding future ultrasounds, maternity leave paperwork, etc. After snotty remarks to all my questions I figured she must be overwhelmed from deliveries. I stated I will be selecting a different provider. I wouldn’t want anyone that feels irritated by questions or rushed to deliver a child. She only seen me for 5 mins and I’ve never experienced such horrible care this is my 3rd pregnancy. Find a different provider that actually has the patience and cares for you it’s your choice!!

I had a c-section 2 years ago and was hoping for a vbac with my 2nd pregnancy. Dr. Lewis assured me that as long as me and baby were healthy, we could try everything for a successful vbac! And it worked! Me and my baby were perfectly healthy and had an amazing vbac experience with Dr. Lewis. I loved my prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care that I received from Dr Lewis.

I have recurrent loss. I met Dr. Lewis when I was hemorrhaging from a miscarriage and she was the on call doc in the maternity ward where I had been admitted. She ordered me a transfusion that literally saved my life. Then she was by my side through two more losses and worked with me to find the right medication to help me have a full term pregnancy. She ran all kinds of tests. She listened. She trusted my instincts. She let me come in whenever I was worried. Quite literally the best OB I have ever encountered. Happy to say I am 22 weeks with my rainbow baby now. I will say, it’s true about the wait time. But it’s worth it to see her. She’s the best!

She performed a surgery on me and still has not spoke to me since. It has been 4 months. I went for my followup and had pain and an infected surgical scar with a fever and a nurse kicked me out of the office and said I could go to the ER if I wanted to have it looked at. She told me they'd call me to reschedule and they never did. I've left messages for the doctor about how much pain I'm in, and she refuses to get back to me. Lewis DOES NOT care about her patients. Do not go here, go somewhere else.

I was in need of a new OBGYN; I made an appt with Dr. Kayci Lewis. I conceived shortly after. I had a miscarriage over the weekend ( 5-6 weeks along), I was told by the ER to have a follow up with Dr. Lewis on Monday. I called 1st thing Monday morning and did not get a returned call until 2:00 (after leaving several msgs). Ended up speaking with 2 different woman- both of which had 0 empathy and were very cold about my MC. I was told Dr. Lewis did not care to see me because I was a new patient.

I waited in my exam room to see her for over 35 minutes. Total time it took was well over 90 minutes from start to finish with about maybe 5 minutes with the actual doctor. This office is just way too busy. She told me what my family doctor could have told me in less time and money...Probably won't be going back.
