If you have to go through the experience, Dr. Griffith is the best to have on your team. Pearls, boots and a calming presence, she makes you feel seen and understood in a most overwhelming time.

I was referred to Dr Griffin by my primary care physician at the time in January 2021 after a suspicious mammogram was brought to my attention. I cannot begin to describe the positive, caring and supportive experience I've had with her, beginning with my breast surgery in March 2021. She understood what I was going through, offered surgical / reconstructive suggestions and therapies for treatment (specific to my needs), created a plan, and monitored not only my physical recovery but also my emotional recovery throughout my ordeal with continued follow ups in 2022. If I could I would refer her to ALL women who are going through the trials and tribulations of breast cancer.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Griffith, not only is she great at her job she cares about her patients. During a scary time she has the ability to make you feel cared for. If you need a breast surgeon look no further.

Dr. Griffith and her staff have been incredible throughout my journey with a BRCA+ gene mutation. She has supported me every step of the way and I am so grateful to work with a doctor that listens, is open to discussing solutions, and takes the time to explain everything in detail. After my first visit with Dr. Griffith, I knew I had found the best. What an incredible doctor and woman! She is so easy to talk to, patient, kind and made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Griffith gets it. From her excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what next steps look like. She gave me options and assured me that no matter which option I chose, she would back me up. Where to begin...Dr. Griffith is literally a life saver. If not for her tenacity, attention to detail, transparency my Mother in Law would not be here today. She specializes in breast cancer and it's so important to have someone with this level of knowledge and skill on your treatment team. Dr. Griffith is to the point, she explains things in a way where you don't have to have a medical degree to understand. She works with the team of doctors that are responsible for your care. There are a lot of medical professionals who let ego get in the way of collaboration and treatment, this is not the case with Dr. G. Her kindness and bedside manner, her patience....I mean I cannot say enough good things. I'm getting emotional writing this honestly because cancer sucks. It sucks so badly and it's really great to have someone on your team and in your corner the way Dr. Griffith is. She checks in to see how her patients are even after they're discharged from her care.

Dr. Griffith is the most incredible woman and breast cancer surgeon that you will meet. I cannot express in this little comment box what she does for her patients. She takes the time to listen to your fears and concerns and addresses each one until you are comfortable. She explains everything thoroughly - she even has a worksheet explaining all test results and care plans based on results. She is compassionate, empathetic and so incredibly talented in her profession. She loves her job and her patients and it shows. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. I had severe anxiety and depression and she made me feel comfortable and confident throughout both surgeries. Her care, demeanor and professionalism removed my anxiety and fears and helped me feel confident in my cancer journey. She is THE ABSOLUTE BEST.

Dr Griffith makes you feel like you are her only patient. She listens to your needs and concerns and helps to create a plan that works for you. I would recommend her every time to someone in need of a breast surgeon - in fact I already have!

Dr Griffith is a very caring dr. She always takes time to answer all of your questions and cares about how you are dealing with your diagnosis. She always made me feel that my health was her highest concern. I feel so lucky to have her as my dr.

If you have boobs (mine are gone at this point), there is nobody else I would trust them with. When you find out you have cancer, it is daunting. Dr. G. went through all my options and spent a lot of time with me. I think she is the best and if I still had breast tissue, I’d trust her with it. Nowhere else to look, this is your girl. Her staff is amazing and you’ll feel taken care of. I hope you see her, you will only be so lucky!

Dr.Griffith is very professional, kind and understanding. Staff was very helpful as well.

My comments are more about the office in general as I have not had much interaction with Dr. Griffith. I would highly recommend that you designate a room within your suite that can be used as a comfortable and comforting consultation room and is separate from the exam rooms. It was recommended to me that I always have someone with me during discussions and consultations for a second set of ears and questions I may not think of. But there is no reason why that person needs to be present for any physical exam and it feels awkward to ask them to stand in the hallway. It should be the norm that a physical exam is with the patient only unless they request to have someone present for that. And EVERYONE on staff should be reminded that things they say in the reception area can be heard by patients in the waiting area - consider it a "hot mic" zone and don't say it unless you want other patients to hear it.

Dr. Griffith has been an amazing addition to the SCL Health team! She is cheerful, attentive, receptive and caring. She takes her time and answers questions. She has a calming presence when it comes time for surgery. I had no reservations when it came to her performing my risk reducing bilateral mastectomy. I am so happy she is involved in my breast care!

I am a Registered Nurse and suddenly last spring became a patient with Breast Cancer. It all started with my routine mammogram screening, then I got a call to return for follow up. I walked into Radiology and my "nurse eyes" saw my mammogram and I knew then I would need a Breast Specialist. That was the moment I took my nurse hat off, and turned over my trust, my care, and all of my worries to Dr. Griffith. I immediately liked Dr. Griffith, she was compassionate and knowledgeable.
