Dismissive Dr when zero bedside manner
I’m writing this review on behalf of my fiancé, who has been a patient of Dr. Einberg (Kenneth Richard Einberg, Neurologist, 4250 Hempstead Tpke STE 21, Bethpage, NY 11714) for the treatment of severe cluster migraines. Unfortunately, despite some initial help from the medication he prescribed, our experience with Dr. Einberg has been overwhelmingly negative due to his poor bedside manner.Dr. Einberg consistently fails to listen. He often asks questions and then interrupts before my fiancé even has a chance to finish answering, making her feel unheard and invalidated in discussing her symptoms. This dismissive behavior is not just frustrating—it makes her feel as though her experiences aren’t real or significant, which is unacceptable, especially for someone dealing with something as debilitating as chronic migraines.Today’s appointment was the last straw. While my fiancé was responding to a question about a specific medication she used to take, Dr. Einberg abruptly ended the appoin

I have been going to Dr. Einberg for years. He really is the most up-to-date and informative neurologist I have seen. He spends a lot of time with his patients, follows up and never rushes you. He also returns phone calls promptly. I would not go to anybody else.

No wait time at all. Carefully reviewed my symptoms and medications. This was a consult which ruled out a serious neurological degenerative disorder. His exam was thorough. Excellent bedside manor. Dr. Einberg came recommended very highly by my Rheumatologist of thirty years who is a well known nationally & internationally. His staff is lovely.

Dr Einberg was not very nice when I met with him. He was very short, did not call in my mri when he said he would, told me I had to wait until Monday bc the person who does it wasn’t in. I had to call his office 10 times and basically beg him to do it himself. I was basically made to feel that he was doing me a favor. He may be a good doctor but he needs better bedside manner and be more kind.

Dr. Einberg has always been very caring, informative, and warm. He has a great sense of humor and as they say a great bedside manner for a doctor. He diagnosed my disorder when no one else could and helped me find relief through treatment.
