Dr Sternberger was my mothers physician while at Holy Redeemer Hospital. He was an extraordinary gift to my family as we came to understand that my mother was quite ill and dying. Dr Sternberger was sincere, compassionate and caring. He made appropriate and sometimes difficult choices regarding my mothers complex illnesses and we are forever grateful for his self confessed attitude of making decisions from the heart. Under his care my mother made a very comfortable and peaceful transition.

One staff member is particularly rude and has given me incorrect results over the phone, which I reported to the Dr. The rest of the staff is friendly and efficient. Often, this office phone line is a BUSY SIGNAL. Also, while I appreciate that this doctor takes his time with patients, it is absurd that appointments are scheduled so close together since average wait time alone, for me over past 10 years, is consistently 45-60 minutes.

His office staff which was once very thorough, is now unprofessional and rude. They failed to submit referrals in a timely manner causing me to be billed for $250. He defended his staff's failures and would not assist in speaking with the insurance company. I gave him one more chance , scheduling an appointment this morning in his office and explained It would take me 45 minutes to get there due to the snow. The new girl said ok hes running late. she called to say he cant see me on my arrival.
