Almost 100% back
Seven months out from major shoulder surgery, and I feel like it's close to 100% back to my old flexibility and strength. Still need a little more endurance, but that should come with time. Everything went just like Dr. V told me it would. He couldn't take away the pain from recovery and rehab, but if he could have I believe he would have. I have great confidence in his work and his words. Can't say enough good things about the whole crew at Anniston Ortho.

Dr. Vandervoort is a very patient doctor
Dr. Vandervoort he’s one of those doctors that takes his time explaining everything and make sure you understand what he’s talking about. My experience could’ve been a life and death situation Dr. Vandervoort and Dr. Murphree waited patiently on my results back from the lab before surgery. Thank God they did.

I find Dr. Vandorvort and his staff to be friendly and helpful. The Dr has a great “bedside manner “ and will take his time to explain things never rushing the patient through. I have used him for two procedures and am highly satisfied.

He is a great Orthopedic Doctor. Very profession
I went to him with my tendon and he found that my case was extremely bad. He sent me to xray to rule out hill spurs because my ankle was so inflamed. I was sent to physical therapy for 6 weeks and after that time I was able to do my own exercises at home. It is a daily effort but worth it.

I went and saw the Dr he referred me to in Birmingham, with him being a well experienced orthopedic he didn't inform me to be exercising my knee so I could work out the little stiff leg I had at the time with a week of not moving it knowing it would be possibly 2 more weeks to get an appointment in Birmingham. Instead of telling me to bend my leg he told me not to and stay off of it NOW I'm in excruciating pain In PT before I can have my surgery
