The worst doctor visit I've ever had
My regular doctor was unavailable, so I got stuck with this one. I was shocked by his bad attitude and impatience - to the extreme. Stay far away!

Knowledgeable and Thorough
Dr. Vera begins each appointment by asking about both my medical issues and my overall life situation. While he may not engage in much small talk, his knowledge and thoroughness are qualities I value in a doctor. He takes the time to address my concerns and identify any triggers affecting my health.Dr. Vera approaches every health issue I raise with a comprehensive perspective. He has recommended adjustments to my medication that have significantly improved my quality of life. Furthermore, he understands when a patient would benefit more from the care of a specialist. Unlike some doctors who try to handle everything themselves, Dr. Vera quickly identified an underlying cause of one of my concerns and referred me to a specialist for more targeted treatment.Additionally, Dr. Vera is affiliated with NYU, a top-notch organization known for its excellent level of care. Knowing that he is part of their team gives me confidence that I can trust him.

Doctor or gas station attendant?
Dr. Vera is incompetent to the point of being a public health hazard. Our visit took 10 minutes and involved an elderly patient with an obvious disability. Dr. Vera did not look at us - not once - and treated us as if we were a bore and a bother. I misspoke when I said gas station attendant. We would have been in much better care.
