a horrible surgery, horrible staff, left me with years of suffering. He never followed up on what he started. He left me waiting in rooms more than an hour on more than one occassion.

The only good thing was they helped get me scheduled soon because I was on a time crunch. This doctor barely gave me the time of day though. I was seen for both eyelids. I had a stye on one, and a chalazion on the other but he didn't even bother to explain that to me. He just said they are both styes. It was very rushed before and after my procedure to drain. He didn't give me proper aftercare instructions. The procedure hurt. And he didn't prescribed antibiotics. One eye got infected after my procedure, and I had to go see another doctor during my road trip to have it drained AGAIN. I had a TOTALLY different experience at the second place, magnifying how terrible my first was. I would not recommend or ever go back to Dr. Michels.

It's hard not to like Dr. Michels. Good personality and staff. Surgery went well and healed quickly. almost too quickly. My only complaint is I wish he had been more methodical and precise about how much lid to trim. It is easier and less complicated the less they take, but also less effective.

Dr. Michels and his team exude incredible quality service, provided an informative surgery packet and exhibited superb bedside manners. Everyone taking care of me from my first appointment, surgery day and post-op appointment, were friendly, genuine and true caregivers. I received information during each step of the way. I followed all instructions to a "T", which assisted my healing time.

Dr Michels is a superior surgeon. In my initial visit, he caught some concerning conditions in my health record. Subsequently, he ordered more tests which revealed some things that needed to be addressed by other specialists. I will always be grateful for his persistence and medical knowledge. He genuinely cares about his patients from the first visit to the final follow up appointment. He also has a very caring and professional staff. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Michels performed eyelid surgery on both of my husbands eyes. His explanation of the procedure was informational and we felt very comfortable with Dr. Michels and his staff. Both surgeries went well and down-time was minimal. I would recommend Dr. Michels to anyone who needs eye surgery. We are very pleased with our experience with Dr. Michels and his staff.

I had many visits with Dr. Michels. He performed ectropion/lateral canthoplasty/conjnctivoplasty of upper lids. I know big words, my eyes bulged due to Graves disease and he fixed them. I no longer sleep with my eyes half open and my chronic dry eye has been resolved. I am more than pleased with the work he did and I would recommend him with confidence. The office staff is tremendous, helpful and there for the patients. They understand about insurance and made sure that I did not have to worry about a surprise bill. I will without hesitation go back to him if I need anything else done on my eyes.

I had droopy eyelids so I had to have surgery on both eyelids. Dr. Michaels did a wonderful job. I healed quickly and can see so much better now. The entire process was made easy and the whole staff was wonderful. Would highly recommend Dr. Michaels.

The whole process from start to finish was seamless and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My only regret is that I did not do this five years ago. Wonderful results, excellent at what he does.

On October 20, 2020, Dr. Kevin Michels did surgery on my eyelids since I have a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy (OPMD) which caused by eyelids to droop. They were so bad that I had to lift my head up and back so I could see to drive. When he did my surgery, he found the perfect balance of raising my eyelids so that they were above the pupils but still allowed me to completely close my eyes. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend Dr. Michels to anyone needing eyelid surgery.
