Great Care
I have been going to Dr Peltier for years for various orthopedic issues… he is great! I have referred family and friends to both him, and others in his practice.

One of my best.
What stands out in every visit with Dr. Peltier, be it the first visit; xray reading; presurgery; post surgery; or follow-ups. Dr. Peltier is very personable, easy to feel comfortable in his presence. He doesn't waste time; he's thorough; concise; yet there is a smooth rhythm to his appointments, without feeling rushed. If you leave his office with a question unanswered, it's because you didn't ask it. He's a tall (6'7''?), imposing figure, yet I (5'6') felt very comfortable. The most inportant aspect is that I TRUST HIM. I've now had both shoulders replaced, the first almost done by a more highly visible and reputed organization. Dr. Peltier was recommended to me by a Dr. friend of the family, and I'm VERY glad he did. I have total confidence in him.

Compassionate, thorough, and honest
I saw Dr. Peltier today for the second time but for a new problem. Although my news was upsetting to me, I found this doctor to be candid, compassionate, and patient. He showed and explained to me my x-rays and why I was having pain. He spoke about options. He gave me time to formulate my questions and answered each one fully. He dispelled my fears and replaced them with accurate information and reason to hope. He inspires confidence and trust. I'm going to keep him.

Dr Peltier 100%
Dr Peltier took care of my 12 year old son immediately following a sports injury. His extensive experience and professionalism doesn’t interfere with his bedside manner and comforting nature. My son had a full recovery after surgery and came back to his sport stronger than we ever could’ve imagined. We are so very thankful for Dr Peltier, and his staff, that we’ve since then referred several friends in need to him. I don’t typically write reviews, and I don’t like to refer friends and family to anyone, but if you have a need, Dr Peltier is someone I can 100% confidently refer my people to see. He’s the best!!

Five Stars plus rating ! I had intense pain in my left shoulder which resulted from severe injuries to my shoulder incurred when I was a passenger in a high speed head on car crash when a careless driver crossed the median and hit us. Dr Peltier’s expert treatment eliminated this pain for me. Dr Peltier is THE best!

I have had two surgeries with Dr. Peltier and have been completely satisfied. He recently did a total shoulder replacement on me and that shoulder is the best it's felt in 7 years. I have better than 90% function back. A great surgeon.

First visit in May 2020, trying to resolve right shoulder pain and instability. Pain worse in flat sleeping position. Home PT exercises did not resolve. Oct. 2020 MRI dx supraspinatus tear. Dr. Peltier performed surgical repair November 2020, and it has been super successful. After in office and home PT, four months later my right shoulder is stable, pain free, and I am sleeping well. Dr. Peltier is a super surgeon; kind, caring and very effective results! Thank you Dr.Peltier!

Dr Peltier is an exceptionally talented surgeon with a confident and down to earth demeanor. He took my appointment quickly after I detached my bicep paragliding in CA in December. I had done my research and he follows and uses all the latest techniques. Go check out his academic and career background to see he likes to be the best. 5 weeks post surgery and I have absolute mobility in the arm and no pain, zero nerve damage, weeks ahead of schedule. Dr Peltier advocates early use of the joint (so long as you are careful) and that makes recovery a breeze. I will be doing obstacle courses with my daughter and paragliding again in June, thanks to this gifted surgeon.

The walls in his office are paper thin, so I could hear the entire conversation between him and the patient before me - he spent six minutes with her. When he came in to see me, it wasn't much better - eight minutes. He seemed clueless, moved my knee around a bit 'umed' and 'ahed' and decided I just needed to exercise more, but didn't diagnose the source of pain. Sent me home with a packet of exercises. Didn't even schedule an MRI. He literally didn't know, nor seemed to care to find out, what was wrong with my knee. I exercised, and the pain became a lot worse. Went to see another doctor, who spent well over 15 minutes with me, and although he couldn't pinpoint the source of pain, he sent me for an MRI. Turns out I have a degenerative meniscus tear. I can't even believe the incompetence of Dr Peltier. I would never recommend him.

I've seen this doctor several times for my shoulder. He has a great bedside manner and takes the time to explains things to you when you're just overwhelmed with pain. He is kind and empathetic. I have seen many surgeons over the years for different things and he is by far one of the great ones. I wouldn't hesitate to drive the hour distance to get an opinion from him. He knows his stuff and is genuinely concerned in patient education and alternatives.

I've been working with Dr. Peltier for over a year on shoulder issues. He is doing everything possible to avoid shoulder replacement which I respect tremendously! He explains everything thoroughly and his treatments so far have kept me out of surgery. Very comfortable referring anyone to him.

Dr. Peltier performed surgery on a distal bicep rupture. I scoured the doctors in northern Virginia and researched the surgical procedure thoroughly. I chose Dr. Peltier because of his credentials and detailed responses to my questions. It has been a year now and I am very happy with the results. He's not given to small talk so don't expect to have a detailed conversation but he is very interested in your injury and he takes pride in fixing the injury. You can't go wrong with this doc.
