Dr. Shrock is very personable and explains my issue(s) in great detail. He then gives options with pros and cons and allows me to choose best option and timelin. I have been seeing him for about 5 years for both knees damaged by athetic training in my teen years and beyond. I was able to postpone replacements long enough that likely will not need to do again. Just finished my first tkr with him and about to schedule the second after 7 weeks. It's not an easy recovery, but it has been manageable with he and his amazing staff...Tiffany, Brittany, and Sandy!

Dr. Shrock was fine, it was his office staff that was lacking. I am an immuno-suppressed insulin pump diabetic. For me to come out of my house for office visit was a big deal. All my other doctors are online visits. First visit I asked to wait in car and was told no, that was difficult for them. The Nurse and office manager were great told me it would not happen again. Which it did both returning visits, I just learned to ignore receptionist. I had 3 injections in my knee and only agreed to it if I could be first appointment at 9 AM. Which I was at 1st visit, them got text my next two visits were at 9:15. When I called, the staff didn't agree it was problem. I ask how many patients in examine room before me? I was told 2 at the most, when I reminded them I only agreed to shots if I was first one in. They became very rude on phone. I asked if I could have my doses so I could take they else where and they never answered. A Doctor is only as good as the staff he surrounds himself with.

Went here based on reviews. Very disappointed. Filled out pre-check info on line and even received an acknowledgment. I had to leave work early for this appointment. Arrived10 mins before my appointment which was 2:30pm. After waiting 25 minutes I told them I had to go back to work and I'd wait 5 additional minutes. Also, they made me fill out paperwork that included duplicate information that I completed successfully in my pre-check. My time is valuable also! I left and they could care less- waste of my time. Ive noticed this is common in So Fl..doctor's do not adhere to their schedule. I understand 10-15 minutes late but 30 minutes or more...Heck no. Mutual respect. Ciao! On a side note, for such a highly rated ortho, how about you spend some $ on that 1970s office!

I found Dr. Shrock to be efficient, thorough and straight-to-the point. He was obviously busy but gave me sufficient time to have my questions answered. If I opt for surgery, I’ll use him since he appears well qualified. He wisely finished our conversation with the invitation to call if/when I make a decision. His receptionist could use further HIPPA training since she came into the waiting area and asked me personal questions with another patient nearby. The waiting room appeared to me to be Covid-19 compliant.

From my first visit to the Fort Lauderdale Orthopaedic Surgery Medicine the care has been amazing. I met with Dr. Kevin Shrock and his Physician Assistant, Rafael Sanchez. My first visit was for a sore knee, an x-ray was taken right in their office. It was decided that shot in the knee would probably be helpful. The discomfort was immediately relieved. My next visit was a bit more serious, as my shoulder was causing me quite a bit of pain. Their office has a complete MRI facility. That was done quickly. The results showed a bone spur, and fortunately there were no tears indicated. Within a reasonable period of time a procedure was scheduled at Outpatient Surgical Service in Plantation, which also outstanding in every way. Dr. Shrock performed the procedure, removed the bone spur. I was expecting a great deal of pain. I was given very minimal pain bills. I had very little discomfort after the procedure. The rehab I was given at their facility was also outstanding. 5 Star rating.

Dr Shrock operated on me and made me 4 times worse than before the surgery according to other Drs who reviewed all my records and MRIS. He also charged medicare for a procedure he did not do. He makes you take PT in his office at 4 times the rate of other PT specialists. He suggests you take narcotics before you go so PT is "comfortable"! But every other Dr or PT person says that is sooo wrong. That that can do serious damage. He also permanently crippled my friend.

Found Dr. Shrock after conducting a google search. Initial appointment was outstanding, i did not even have my paperwork filled out before i called in and taken to X-ray. Thereafter, PA came in and took my history and Dr. Shrock came in and performed a range on motion test. He should me my X-ray and discussed diagnosis and treatment plan. I have to admit i was not expecting this level of service. Very seldom does this happen. Highly recommended this office and it’s staff.

Dr. Shrock is a wonderful, highly competent doctor. That said, I just fired him. When I took my husband to him, the office mishandled a HIPPA form so that I am not listed on it. Therefore, they said, they couldn't share his medical information with me. That's ridiculous. Also, he has an in-office MLI and, by god, he's going to use it. We live near Aventura and severe pain is keeping my husband from using a car. I'm arranging transport to a closer MRI. His office says, I'm on my own. Thanks much.

This office is well-organized for efficiency and maximum care. There has been very little staff turnover during the four years I have come here. That’s always a good sign. Dr. Schrock is a good listener andobviously has a wealth of knowledge. I appreciate his conservative approach.

Dr. Shrock operated on my left shoulder for a bone spur about 10 years ago, and I have not had any problems since. Over the last few years, my right shoulder has experienced pain. He diagnosed it as problems with the bursa and has been treating me methodically and conservatively for this ailment. I would strongly endorse Dr. Shrock for anyone in need of a competent orthopedic surgeon.

Dr Shrock has performed surgery on both of my shoulders 6 years apart One in 2011 and the other in 2017. As a radiology healthcare professional myself with understanding of how difficult shoulder surgery can be I consulted several surgeons before choosing Dr Shrock. One of shoulders required much more rehab than the other due to the amount of damage. I credit my recovery to Dr Shrock's exceptional surgical skills delivered in a kind compassionate manner. There is no one else I would consider.
