Wasn't willing to see me after scheduled appt.
I scheduled appointment through the office after I was in emergency room day beofre and instructed to schedule a gastro appt ASAP. About two hours later the office called and said they had to cancel since he was not willing to see me, and I had to see a PA (not real doctor). It was pretty clear I need to see a real doctor. Zero concern for patients.

It is a delight to find a doctor that listens and explains what is going on. After seeing several other GI doctors, Dr Ngo finally listened to me and got to the bottom of my problem. For the first time in a while I'm actually feeling better.

Great doc
Great experience with Dr. Ngo. Friendly staff and knowledgable doctor. My whole family sees him and he has always taken great care of us. Would not hesitate to send friends and (more) family to him

This doctor made me feel like an idiot
I decided to leave half way through the appointment because he was making me uncomfortable. He said the reason I came to see him was stupid but proceeded to want me to do a colonoscopy and scope and didn't provide a reason. He was mad at me for not knowing the name of my heart burn medication. I asked to leave after that.

I felt the doctor had made a judgment about me prior to even stepping into the room. He was abrasive, rude, condescending, dismissive, and gaslit me. I got in my vehicle afterwards and sobbed. If you do see this doctor, perhaps bring a loved one with you who will help you feel supported and will vouch for your character. Remember that you know your body better than anyone does. A medical professional should never make you feel bad/crazy for wanting to check on your health. Unfortunately that was what I experienced.

Dr Ngo is the perfect mix of intelligence and kindness. He takes his time and actually aims to fix the root cause instead of just prescribing drugs or tests. So happy to have met him with my problems, easily recommend him to anyone having G.I issues.

Dr. Ngo is the best Gastroenterologist I have ever seen. He took my case seriously and was extremely compassionate when other doctors wrote me off. His personality makes me feel comfortable and thanks to him, I am now getting the care and attention I needed.

My experience with this doctor was by far the worst I’ve ever had with a medical professional. After explaining my symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea) that I had been dealing with for well over a month this doctor asked, in a very dismissive manner, what I wanted him to do about it. I questioned the way he was treating me and he said we were not “connecting”. He proceeded to tell me my condition was not as bad as I thought it was after listening to my symptoms. Exceptionally poor.

The doctor was almost an hour late and once I got to see him wouldn't even let me speak about my condition. Instead he kept directing me with yes or no questions and when I would try to explain with more than that he would cut me off. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend going to him. He made me feel nervous and stupid, not calm and reassured as a doctor should.
