Dr Alam takes his time with patients
Dr Alam took over an hour with me listening to my explanation of symptoms and was very compassionate with me and my husband. He immediately ordered a nerve conduction study and lab work. We are waiting results, but I certainly do not agree with the comments of Dr Alam not listening to patients. He listened very well and is taking steps to help find out the results of the tests in a timely manner. Very pleased with my visit with Dr Alam.

Has not HELPED at all
One of the worst to ever deal with. My Dad was referred to him and was driving himself and walking in with only a cane. Key words here, DRIVING & WALKING. He started him on Parkinson’s meds due to his shakes and weakness, didn’t work. Increased his dose TWICE, no help. Dads walking and strength was getting worse. He can’t drive anymore. He’s using a walker now, barely. He even told my parents “I don’t know what’s wrong with you”. Mentioned he would discuss my dads issues with his partner, NEVER DID. And all this time appts continue to get cancelled and rescheduled MONTHS out. Now my Dad can barely walk. Last visit he was in a wheelchair. He has done nothing to help. I feel he has neglected my dad and he gets worse each day. This frustrates me because it doesn’t seem like he cares for his pts. Negligence is not ok! Hoping my dads pcp can refer us to someone else who is willing to help and not continue to push us back more and more.

Horrible Doctor!
He would not listen to me, especially concerning my symptoms. Every time I tried to speak, he'd cut me off and interrupt me to get me to stop talking then not allow me to go back. Every new symptom I experience, if I tried to tell him about it, his only reply was often "are you seeing a psychiatrist?" And that was it, he would not address my concerns further. He was basically gaslighting me into thinking "it's all in my head." He refused to diagnose me and was literally shrugging his shoulders and saying "I don't know what's wrong with you" and was ready to call it a day until I explained to him I had been hospitalized and diagnosed then. He never even knew I was in the hospital. I am very sick and have been steadily getting worse for two years and he has refused to treat any of my problems. I'm currently attempting to find medical care elsewhere.

Absolute worse
Doesn’t listen. Makes you feel awful for even coming in. Made me feel like I was a drug seeker, and I wasn’t even requesting or wanting pain control. Would not even attempt to help with my problem, basically told me that my problem wasn’t what I said it was, that it had to be something else, but wouldn’t run any tests to confirm his thoughts. Honestly the worst possible doctor I’ve ever been too. Would never in a million years go back.
