Dr. Kinga Huzella, MD

Dr Huzella is incredible doctor. She has removed large growths from my lids called xanthelasma. I was so incredibly happy with the outcome! Her staff is awesome Kiri and Jenna her assistants are always so helpful and knowledgeable. I drive a little further to come to the Frederick office because I’m so pleased with her care. You can tell she and her staff care for their patients. She also has a great sense of humor!

I went to Kinga Michelle Huzella, M.D. at the Frederick office of the Maryland Vision Institute; she is an exceptional ophthalmologist who made my visit outstanding. Dr. Huzella's professionalism and attention to detail during my eye examination were impressive. She took the time to explain each step thoroughly, which made me feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. Her diagnostic skills were evident, and I felt very confident in her ability to identify and address my specific issue. I also greatly appreciated her personalized approach; she provided tailored recommendations based on my individual needs and took the time to educate me on maintaining my eye health.I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Huzella to anyone seeking a skilled and empathetic ophthalmologist.

Needed to fix an inverted lower eyelid. Was concerned about surgery in such a delicate area. Dr. Huzella filled me with confidence that she was the right person to do this. The surgery went much better than I had hoped. Thanks to Dr. Huzella, an issue that was bothering me for years has been corrected. I won't go to anyone else for my eyes.

Dr. Huzella is an amazing ophthalmologist. After years of struggling with many eye issues, she has helped me tremendously. My vision was so blurry after cataract surgery- she lasered my eyes and it was better She then sent me to a specialist that does a special lid surgery called a levator dehiscence repair. That also helped tremendously with my vision. I also had issues with the lines on the road moving and getting crossed. She measured my eye turn and solved that problem with putting prism in my glasses. I can finally drive safely and confidently- especially at night. I also sent my 90 year old friend to see her for her chronic tearing Dr. Huzella opened up her tear drainage system and lasered the scar tissue in her eyes as well. A new world opened up for both of us! We are endlessly grateful for her care and friendly demeanor. Lauren her right hand lady is smart, professional, and kind. I love the welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend her and the practice for all eye care needs.

Everyone is very nice. Dr Stern did my cataract surgery a few years back and Dr Huzella did my laser and my eyelid surgery. I am very pleased. I can see without glasses for distance perfect. My lids were so heavy and in the way. Dr Huzella did such a nice job. They do not block my vision anymore and it looks so nice. She is so considerate and kind.

I came to Maryland Vision Institute and saw Dr. Holland and Dr. Huzella. I was having issues with glaucoma not being controlled and narrow angles. Dr. Holland put me on glaucoma drops and then Dr. Huzella did a laser procedure. I was very nervous at first, but the doctors and staff were so friendly and caring. My surgery went well without any pain. My eye pressures are very good now and my vision has cleared up as well. I am very grateful for these doctors. Praise the Lord!

he VA had been taking care of me for a long time. There were medical items that I needed completed on a timely schedule. Community-Care found MD Vision Institute—Every now and then I get lucky. They did a complete eye checkup and exams. They did tests that I don't remember ever having. The entire staff of the Frederick Office was pleasant and professional. I was seen by Dr. Michelle Huzella along with her tech—Lauren. They were both professional, pleasant, and seriously fun to talk to.

Dr. Huzella's technician, Jennifer was so helpful and kind. I am a 90 year old patient, I use a walker, and am not too speedy in my actions or words. Jennifer is an outstanding employee and I wanted to let you know my comments.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Huzella this weekend. She is wonderful - very kind, thorough, and attentive. All of my questions were answered and every concern addressed. I am very pleased.

I first met Dr. Huzella in 2017 when the pressure in both of my eyes was in the 50's. She diagnosed my syndrome and the drops regimen she recommended has kept my pressure in the single digits!!! She has always been kind, professional and very responsive to my questions. She also has a GREAT sense of humor; my husband could not believe that I was being diagnosed with glaucoma but Dr. Huzella and I were discussing shoes! She always treats my husband and myself as friends, not just patients. We are truly blessed to have her in the community! 10/15/20: I want to give a shout out to Kiana (technician) and Maria (scribe) from the Frederick Office for their professionalism, friendliness and care. Kiana answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable while Maria went above and beyond to make sure all my information was current. This is a fantastic office and thanks to all of you!

I had my LASIK done at Maryland Vision Institute with Dr Stern and Dr Huzella. I now have 20 /15 vision in each eye! I have no problems. The staff is very friendly.

Dr. Huzella was extremely kind and responsive to my concerns of LASIK eye surgery. She worked with me to ensure that I was a good candidate, and I now have fantastic vision. I am looking forward to visiting in the future.

Dr Huzella has been treating me for the last year. Last month she performed laser surgery on my left eye and the results were fantastic. She is always on time, gives excellent advice, and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Huzella is the absolute best. I met her 4 years ago when I had a piece of metal in my eye. Since then, I have seen her every year and actually look forward to seeing her every year. She is the consummate professional, with all of the people skills in the world. I really don't plan on seeing anybody else unless I have to. Kudos to her for being an exemplar in her profession.
