Waiting w/o explanation.
In a past visits, he seemed competent in treatments. However in recent visit I walked out an hour after my appointment time without any explanation from the staff on why I was being made to wait. Sorry Dr., but my time is just as valuable as yours. Now looking for a new cardiac doctor.

Almost cost me my life. I had a failing tricuspid valve. First told me many people live comfortably with nonfunctional t. valve. Then told me t. valve replacement surgery was not done. Went to heart valve surgeon who asked why I had not come to him sooner. Said if I had come a few months later it would have been too late to save my life. Successful surgery performed. Patel treated me like an ignorant patient; more concerned with churning through as many office visits as possible every day.

Dr. Patel performed emergency angio-plasty on me on a monday and I'm filling this out on a thursday from the comfort of my home. So yeah he kind of saved me from any permanent heart damage and maybe saved my life, so I am giving him the best rating possible!

Dr. Patel is a careless, compassionless doctor whose main concern is getting you in and out of the office to raise his billing rate. On numerous occasions, he cut me off and left the room before I could even tell him the full reason behind my visit. This has lead to persistent chest discomfort that has been unaddressed, forcing me to change my cardiologist. If you are a patient who wants a doctor that listens to and addresses your concerns, then do not choose Dr. Patel.

Was in the process of finding a new dr for mom. Wait time was awful. No great concern for mom's hbp and heart complications. She passed away last week, the dr. had the nerve to say she wasn't even his patient and wouldn't sign off on her death certificate. We called into the office to verify if he was the correct dr., his staff confirmed that she was in fact his patient and that he was not in the office to sign off on the certificate. So disappointed!

I have never been to a doctor who is so insulting and rude. I'm not looking for friendship, but I'm not looking for someone to mock me and be down right rude. This man has lied to my face, saying there is a study that I would be great for because he wanted to find out why I had HBP. The nurse from the study called me and said - No, Dr. Patel wants to sever my nerve endings to my kidneys. Interesting that I found a doctor in Ann Arbor who in two visits had my blood pressure down.

Dr Patel is the best. I have subclavin steal. 100% blockage in the left subclavin. While checking this out with the possibility of putting in a stint he found a 80% blockage in my heart. This probably saved my life, I had no symptoms. He put a stint in my heart. The subclavin is being monitored. I have very few symptoms now but feel one day I will need a bypass. Dr Patel is my doctor.

Dr. Patel is the best cardiovascular doctor. He took care of my father for 13 years. He gave my father and family an extra 13 years of life. In 2003, he rushed my dad to the cath lab and opened his LAD artery (the widow maker) while he was having a heart attack. My dad's heart was so weak, Dr. Patel also placed a balloon pump in his heart for his heart to beat. Dr. Patel managed his cardiac symptoms for thirteen years, My father also had a diagnosis with heart failure back in 2003.
