Dr. Johnson said my knee was fine based on the X ray and dismissed me. Intense knee pain continued and I saw a doctor who had an MRI of the knee that shows significant disruption.

I am a new patient and am glad to share that Dr. Johnson is 5 Star. I have for for a month believed from another doctor that both of my knees had to be surgically replaced. For a specialist opinion I seeked an appt. with an orthopedic specialist highly reccommended to me. Dr. Johnson X rayed my knees in his office and said I did not need surgery at this point and is treating me with arthritis inflamation instead, only a fews days now I am improving daily! Wow, what a relief, thank you Dr. Johnson and your entire pleasant staff.

Dr. Johnson is an outstanding surgeon. I was treated exceptionally by his nurses and staff. All went well. This was the one year after surgery visit. I do not need to return again.

This is after two total knee replacements, and follow up care over the course of four years. Most excellent in all aspects of his profession. Caring, considerate, professional, compassionate, thoughtful, thorough and knowledgeable. His pre-operation process helped my recovery and post op practices and recommendations have led me to playing tennis five times a week. There is nothing more to say than if you need a total knee replacement in Hilton Head, Bluffton area of SC then this is the man.

Six weeks ago I had a full hip replacement and couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Kirk Johnson and his office staff and the Hilton Head Hospital staff were outstanding. Because of Dr. Johnson's expertise and experience, I experienced little to no pain and the rehab people and nurses were also great in helping me to recover.
