Dr. Ko-Chen Yao, DMD

I've been going to Dr. Yao for years. He and his wife, Mrs. Yao, the insurance specialist and scheduler, sustain professionalism. I don't feel taken for granted. Both have a pleasant manner. Quality of work is excellent.

The best dentist I eve had in my life

A very mediocre dentist. Can only do simple routine jobs. Many years ago when I lost my 2 teeth he highly recommended me to do bridge. I mentioned I was willing to do implant and money wasn't an issue. He tried so hard to let me not do implant, and said things like "implant may not work for everybody, etc..". At that time I was a healthy man under age of 30, what the hell he was talking about ? Years later I did more than 5 implants with other dentists and all worked fine. Since I followed his advice to do the bridge, I had to let four good teeth be cut more than half in order to make the bridge work. That significantly hurt those 4 healthy teeth and years later I had to spend more $$$ to fix the issues caused by it. Later on I realized it was he wasn't confident about his implant skills at that time.

I'm 56. I've moved a lot and had many dentists. Dr. Yao is absolutely the best I've even had...Really. And I'm very picky.
