Doctor spent a lot of time reassure me that everything will be fine. Explained procedure with time and care. Listening to my fears and understanding and very sensitive of my feelings to give me confidence in going forward with the surgery.

Dr Wells saved my husband’s life.
Dr. Wells was very thorough in her explanations. She made the choice to operate right away which saved my husbands life. She checked on him often and was very caring. She made a point of seeking me out to give me updates. I would highly recommend her.

Mean to staff in front of patient
I don’t recommend this doctor because she talked down to her staff and then complained about them to me as the patient. This is totally inappropriate and unprofessional. I was worried about my surgery and wanted to talk about my breast cancer instead of hearing the doctor complain about her staff.

Not good at all
I had a very bad experience with this doctor. The experience was so bad that i wrote to the Standards Board. Wells bragged in my after surgery appointment that she has made many mistakes and has never been sued. Wells said she loses a little piece of her soul every time she makes a mistake. I wrote to the Standards Board and they said she is allowed to make mistakes. In my case Wells was confused by the medical imaging and did a larger more invasive surgery than was necessary or to which I had agreed. It looks like she used a serrated grapefruit spoon. The scarring is extensive. She managed to attach the skin to the adipose tissue to the muscle. Eighteen months after the surgery there is chronic continuous discomfort due to the extensive nerve damage she caused. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She may seem like a nice person, and maybe she is, but she is not a good surgeon.
