Poor example of healthy eating!
Telehealth
I saw Dr. Eagles for my weight concerns and don't trust her judgment or medical advice at all. I would not recommend a person that clearly has an eating disorder and does not know how to live within a healthy lifestyle (balance of eating and exercise). Please don’t push your damaging superficial views onto others. The women in this world don’t have to be ultrathin to be considered attractive.

Dr. Eagles if rude and could care less about her patients. I had a fractured foot and she put a cast on it. I cancelled my follow up appointment with her and seeing a real orthopedic. You would think after seeing these reviews she would adjust her attitude. Nope!!!

One of the worst doctor experiences I've had
I found Dr. Eagles to be rude, insensitive, dismissive and incompetent. I was in extreme pain, but she spent the entire appointment lecturing me about my weight instead of listening to me and trying to diagnose me. I actually had to ask her what her diagnosis was, in fact. Her advice was to use a rolling pin on my muscles and PT, aside from losing weight, in case I didn't get the hint (newsflash - overweight people are aware that they need to lose weight!). I now have permanent nerve damage. I went to see a real doctor at a different practice who completely disagreed with her diagnosis, which was confirmed by an MRI.

No bedside manner. Rude.
I saw Dr Eagles age the recommendation of my PCP for back pain. I saw her a few times and she gave me hydrocortisone shots. I mentioned some lower back pain and asked if a shot was possible there and she rudely stated “the needle is only so big”. I mean what kind of doctor says that? She shouldn’t even be one with that attitude. I never went back and now just live with back pain.

Focused, Caring and Efficient
I broke bones in my elbow and wrist, and have a contusion on my hip after a fall at work. I saw Dr. Eagles for my first visit and can tell she really knows her stuff. I'm looking forward to my full recovery under her care.

I found Dr Eagles to be a bit rude . She talks in to a mouthpiece that someone is dictating for her . She hardly at all talks to patient . A couple of times I asked if she was talking to me and she continued to talk to the dictator ! I had a fractured knee and she put me in a knee immobilizer which I told her kept sliding down and do not fit . She said I was being lazy about it , like I did not wear it properly . Then process the tell me if I do not wear it properly I would get a cast and have to be in a wheelchair and cannot bathe . She asked if that fit in to my lifestyle ? Would it fit with anybody s lifestyle ? It was then I knew she was not only rude . But was not listening to me that the brave did not fit me right . I went to another orthopedic Dr and he fit me with a regular brace and said there was no need for a cast . I would never recommend her at all . She acts like she does not really care about patient and did not explain things well .

She is one of the worst doctors I have ever come across. She was 30 mins late, barely introduced herself. Spent the entire rushed visit talking into an earphone to someone dictating her notes and almost no time talking to me or my young daughter who she was treating. I actually thought she was talking to me and kept saying “excuse me”, but she kept talking on the phone to someone taking notes. Her bedside manner is awful and the appointment felt almost bizarre. She has no social skills and is horrible with kids. Her diagnosis is questionable and when I asked her nurse for the radiology report, she read me the riot act - is if Dr. Eagles is THE expert. Well, I got it in and it contradicts Dr. Eagles diagnosis so I called twice over two days. Instead of her calling for an actual conversation, she posted an animated picture in MyChart to back up her diagnosis without notice. Awful. Second opinion with another doctor tomorrow.

Miss diagnosed my lumbar herniation as hip strain. Shot me with injections that made things worse. I felt she was cold, quick and didn't listen to what I was saying. Seeing her delayed my recovery. Would not recommend to anyone.

I found Dr. Eagles to be cold, rushed and uninterested in trying to figure out what was going on with my back. I’ve had sciatic pain for almost three years now. She sent me home with a packet of stretches to do. A few weeks later I got a second opinion from a surgeon at MGH who ordered an MRI for me. Turns out I have a herniated disc. Would not recommend.

Dr. Eagles is the south shore's best kept secret! I first saw her for a hip problem after 6 months of PT with no improvement. After a couple of visits, and by keeping up with the exercises she gave me to correct my problem, my pain is gone. After a recent accident, I went back to see her. Once again, Dr. Eagles has set me on the path that will allow me to pursue the physical activities that I love today while preserving my mobility for the long run. I highly recommend Dr. Eagles!

I’ve seenDr. Eagles for 2 treatments related to headaches & neck/back stiffness. I found her to be one of the most thorough, patient and skilled health professionals I’ve had the pleasure to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions & explained each step in my treatment process. The therapies she performed were not only effective for what I came in for, but also have improved my bilateral chronic carpal tunnel, a condition that’s been virtually untreatabl for years.

Dr Eagles has been treating me for years for my hip pain. When other orthopedist told me to quit my job and get a desk job and start using a cane she took the time to properly diagnose me and helped me get better. Always willing to make the time to see me if I’m having any problems. Has helped me with many other problems too. Dr Eagles is very sweet and extremely smart. Always willing to take the time to explain things. I highly recommend her.
