Dr. Hampton and his team performed laparoscopic radical prostatectomy on me. I found him to be very friendly, with a kind and humorous character. He is very professional and highly skilled. My surgery went well, and I am recovering rapidly. The follow-up interactions with his staff after surgery have gone smoothly. I found the staff very friendly, knowlegable, and personable. I highly recommend him.

Having been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and after countless hours of research on the disease and doctors, I found Dr. Hampton. He is an excellent choice. Dr. Hampton and his medical staff explained all of my options and answered all of my many questions. I chose robotic surgery and Dr. Hampton performed it flawlessly. I highly recommend Dr. Hampton and will continue to see him for any urological need in the future.

Dr. Hampton is very professional, surgery went well with minor complications. The practice management, if you can call it that, was deplorable. No one, I repeat no one will call you back. Receptionist told me that they were too busy and to call back after hours and request a call from the on call doctor. On-call doctor didn’t call back until two hours and two pages later. Scheduled post-op for 3 months out. Second time now an on-call doctor has failed to call. Hence this review. Beware!!

Went to three Urologist before finding comfort in Dr. Hampton. I had a very large Staghorn Calculis which he removed. I highly recommend him.

The most unprofessional doctor and staff I've ever encountered. We arrived to the doctor's office and were informed that he "called in" for the day. It would have been nice if someone took the time to call us before we traveled all the way from South Hill, Virginia. Then the receptionist lied and told us she called. We knew this to be false as telephones now have call log records. I guess she did not get the memo. When asked when we could reschedule she nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders.

Referred to Dr. Hampton by another excellent doctor at VCU due to results of an MRI directed biopsy. Dr. Hampton performed a robotic prostatectomy a year ago and after three follow-up visits the PSA results are undetectable. Prior to the operation Dr. Hampton informed me prior to the operation of likely and possible results. Found him to be calm, patient and very receptive to answering ALL of my questions for the present and into the future. He & his staff have also been prompt in responding.
