Dr. Pennington saved my life. If it hadn't have been for him running different blood tests for about 6 weeks, my genetic blood disorder, hereditary hemochromatosis, wouldn't have been detected. He has been the only doctor that has really tried to find answers for me. All these years of being sick, now I know why! Thank you Dr. Pennington!

Dr. Pennington is very friendly and warm, which makes it easy to talk to him about matters, which may be more personal than others. He never rushes and answers all my questions. He shows genuine concern for whatever issues I may be having. He's very thorough and searches for the right solution to any problem. He takes time to explain any necessary procedures and follows up to be sure I am doing well. The nurses and staff at Digestive Disease Associates are all helpful and friendly. Getting an appointment is easy. I definitely recommend Dr. Pennington for any issues with digestive system problems.

This guy had to be convinced three times by the primary care doctor to do an endoscopy, because my family member had lost alot of weight due to vomiting and dehydration. Then he made a routine appt instead of an urgent appointment when my family member was dying of stomach cancer. He reluctantly did the endoscopy, then he found a "massive tumor" in his stomach. "Massive". Then he forgot to actually measure the massive tumor. This guy is completely incompetent. Beware of this lazy doctor.

I'm a 41 y/o f who just had a non-sedated colonoscopy done by Dr. P. I'm waiting for biopsy results on f/u visit, but will say I'm surprised by the other comments. My initial consult was mainly c/ NP who was professional; at end Dr.P came in briefly to recommend COL and why. When we met for my COL, Dr.P was great! I was able to watch whole procedure on screen which he explained throughout while keeping me at ease with friendly conversation and humor, also I had NO pain or discomfort.

Absolutely horrible doctor. Does not care about the patient at all. Does not care that you are in pain and has no desire to find out why. Zero bedside manner. Not very bright either. Did not even notify me of abnormal results. Very bizarre lack of empathy or reaction to anything at all. Thankfully found another doctor who is actually helping now. Gave him sveral chances. Dont waste your time or money with this one.

This guy isn't very personable & has horrible bedside manner. He didn't seem to care about me as a patient and was very much in a hurry to just get me in and out. The office overall seemed very incompetent. Staff working out front were very rude and not friendly at all. I had to call more than once about pharmacy not receiving a prescription and about canceling future appointments. I was always placed on hold for an average of 10 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this doctor nor this office at all.

Terrible. He showed absolutely no interest on what was wrong with me. He just wanted me in and out of there. He will not be recommended by me.
