Dr. Laura Hunt, MD

I was referred to Dr. Hunt by my PCP because I had a year physical from my place of employment and I didn’t pass the breathing test to wear PAPR. I got an appointment fast and was scheduled for a PFT the next day. I love how she took care of my problem.

She is thorough and very caring. Wouldn't go to anyone else. I drive 2 hours to see her.

This was my first visit to see Dr Hunt and it was so easy to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival at the office for check-in, I did not wait longer than a minute before I was called back to see Dr Hunt. The office staff were very attentive and Dr Hunt easy to talk to while investigating my situation.I left with a good plan for testing and return visits and would recommend this practice to others.

I appreciated the office scheduling being so flexible & efficient. The office staff was friendly & accommodating. Besides being so knowledgeable in her field Dr. Hunt was very patient & understanding. I appreciated her relaxed & caring manner. I see why see is a patient favorite. I would highly recommend her.

Dr hunt ask questions , listens . She explains health issues & works toward solutions. Great staff! She got back to me the next day with test results, I would recommend her to others,

Dr Hunt always treats me with kindness. She listens to my concerns and works with me to find the most appropriate treatment for my asthma. My quality of life is so much better because of her.

Took time to review tests and then called my ID doctor to ask opinion on options for treatment.

The one thing that I love about Dr. Hunt is her concern for my health & how she always answers my questions! So happy that she is part of my medical team at Williamson The staff is wonderful too!

Dr Hunt is genuinely concerned about my health and well-being, very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Her entire staff is also very welcoming and accommodating. I love that she gives me clear medical advice (along with her opinion) about medicine and available options without any coercion. The result is that together we have come up with the best course of action (that is working) for me.

I appreciate the fact that Dr. Hunt listens intently with solid follow-up questions. There is urgency in her treatment regarding scheduling imaging, labs, and issuing prescriptions. Patient follow-up is very timely. I truly believe that Dr. Hunt care about me as a person. I explained the nature of my problem & her staff had me in the office the next day. Images and lab work done within hours of the office visit. Prompt follow-up calls with test results and within 24 hours I had a more detailed scan of my chest area. Within an hour of the scan I received the results. The service provided is very much appreciated!!

I have been going to Dr. Hunt for a number of years. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional, caring and provides excellent care. We decide the best course of treatment together. She is very proactive in ensuring I have the best of care. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Hunt and her staff for taking such good care of me over the years.

Smooth going! Sat down, they called me back. PFT done quickly, saw Dr Hunt a few minutes ahead of time.

This doctor’s staff called me repeatedly for a follow up visit and a CT scan, but the doctor wouldn’t order the scan before I came in for the appointment. Then after the appointment when my insurance wouldn’t a”cover the CT scan that she had ordered, the doctor reversed course and said I really didn’t need it. The engagement was a total waste of my time and money. I’ll find somebody else who is trustworthy.. You should too.

Dr Hunt us very knowledgeable, kind, caring, and compassionate but firm where she needs to be with no judgment. She takes the time to listen and is not afraid to recommend different medications to improve my health.

Dr. Hunt is a wonderful doctor. She is not only brilliant, but is very kind and caring. It’s obvious that she really wants to get to the root of your problem and will work with you until a diagnosis is made. Her staff is awesome. They are very efficient, but almost as important, they are very friendly.

My first appointment with Dr. Hunt helped me so much. I had had asthma for 4 years and had difficulty getting appropriate care. Dr. Hunt listened carefully and addressed all my issues. She gave me the right medications, and now I am on the road to recovery. I appreciate her experience and knowledge and care so much!!!
