I was experiencing delayed hemorrhaging after my c-section and she happened to be the doctor on call for the night. She got to the hospital quickly, assessed the situation, and preformed a DNC on me. She saved my life. I’m forever grateful for her and all the nurses at Baptist East.

I had no issues for most of my life and was an easy once a year patient with a birth control prescription. That all changed when I started with perimenopause and a couple fibroids that put me in months of pain and excessive bleeding that makes my life a Complete nightmare. Dr. Sloan has taken none of my concerns seriously. No suggestion for a solution, no tests for hormones or anything else aside from an ultrasound to confirm the size of the fibroids. Not even a blood test until I requested one. And they never called with results. When I did, I was called back by a nurse who said “the doctor said it’s fine” and I asked that a copy be mailed to me. All of my iron levels were below recommended levels. That is not “fine” for a patient who has been bleeding for 3 months straight. The issues finally subsided for a few months but are back again. She won’t even call me back and I have to make an appt. I’m sure she will just look at me blankly. Can’t find a new doctor during COVID. Just Awful

Dr slone is very nice. She always answers all my questions. She always asks if I have any questions before leaving the room. She explains in detail any procedures that need to be done. She calls personally with test results.
