Dr. Lauren Murray, MD

My doctor of 30 years retired right before I started having issues and I assumed I would need a hysterectomy. I did a lot of research, looked at reviews. I found Dr. Murray and Walnut Hill OBGYN. I was a bit nervous having to have a new doctor but Dr. Murray put me at ease on the first visit. I did need a complete hysterectomy and she was so knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and calm throughout the whole process. She takes her time with her patients and never makes you feel rushed. She answered all of my questions & concerns. She 100% put me at ease so much that I really wasn't nervous about the surgery. Everything went very smooth and my recovery time was perfect. She is an outstanding surgeon. The office staff is also awesome & caring from the staff at the front desk to the nurses, surgery coordinator, etc. I am so thankful for Dr. Murray and the whole team at WHOBGYN.

Lauren is a fantastic person. She is a good listener, intelligent, and has empathy which represent the qualities you look for in a physician. She is the person I would recommend to family and friends.

I have never reviewed a doctor before but I have to give Dr. Murray a review after seeing her for about 5 years now. She is so fantastic! I am never left waiting in the waiting room past my appointment time, she is so sweet and friendly and makes you so comfortable, and I’m always in and out quickly. She is very knowledgeable and seems to genuinely care about her patients. I seriously couldn’t ask for anything more!

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with my pregnancy at this practice. The staff at the practice are insensitive and rude. The doctor herself is knowledgeable but not good at managing patient expectations. Really disappointed in the way my delivery played out.

I travelled a great distance to have Lauren Murray, MD perform my hysterectomy. All laparoscopic, minimally invasive. I felt very safe in her hands. She is also of tender spirit and gives the care you can only hope a doctor might give. Outstanding experience for me!!!

She is the most sweetest doctor. She listens to you and keeps you informed. With our pregnancy, she was always supportive of our decision to try and deliver natural even when it took much longer than expected. I highly recommend her. Very kind and so experienced!
