He needs to move on. Maya need not carry his flag.I find his care poor at best, the office is unprofessional and rude (especially if you are not happy with service) Watch out! They will hang up on you. Fly or drive to the valley, the lack of doctors makes this man more available. If you check reviews you will see that the positive statements are around the ease of setting appointments. Could it be because of the poor service and care? My mom is not safe there.

I am curious. If its your practice to ignore spouse/caregivers phone calls and pleas??? Are you happy you killed a patient? How many years did she call you asking for help? I can answer that question. You never called her back. Wrote everything off. You do not deserve a medical license. I hope she sues you for everything you have. YES she has a law suit. Hope they sue the hell out of you and you never practice again. Its sad... and you only got a 1 star cuz I had to give you one...you get ZERO STARS

Saw Dr. Driss regularly for about two years. The last few visits were less than satifactory. It appears the patient should not be asking questions of Dr. Driss. My final visit I spoke first with a student, we had a very nice discussion on what I felt, how I felt and questions I wished to ask. Shortly thereafter the student and Dr. Driss returned, spent less than five minutes in the examining room with me. Dr. Driss was less than eager to discuss my concerns.I believe the doctor/patient relationship is a two way street when it comes to treatment, questions and answers.

Husband and I have been seeing Dr. Driss for 2 years and are very happy with our experiences. Dr. Driss is knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. If you need lots of time and talk from your doc during visits he may not be a good fit for you. If you are like us and just want a good, thorough doctor and a quick, efficient visit, he is great. His nurse Jessica is excellent, thorough and efficient as well. She intakes patients and also sees you after doc to make sure all is clear. Office and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. Responses to phone messages are timely. No problem getting appt when needed. Also offer patients annual flu shot walk-in clinic.

My wife saw him for about a year for Type II Diabetes. While he seems knowledgeable, he was incredibly arrogant and did not pay any attention to anything she told him. He zipped in, prescribed a bunch of medication, and hurried out. It was a struggle to get 10 minutes from him. I can't speak for other patients but for us, he had a bad bedside manner, didn't listen, and relied too much on pushing pills--and on the last visit, actually yelled at my wife. We've moved on.

In this day and age, it's disheartening to find a seemingly good doctor who is supported by a selfish, incompetent and lazy staff. I'm a Type 1 diabetic since 1963 and have seen Dr. Driss for the past 3 years. My insurance company - Medicare supplement - requires an annual pre-authorization for my prescriptions and, this year, Driss' staff has refused to comply, claiming they "don't have time!" 54 years, Type 1 diabetes, how much "TIME" do I have without my prescriptions?

I am a retired MD and have had Dr. Driss as my primary care physician for 20yrs. He is knowledgeable, concerned, careful, and effective. One example is that he discovered a dangerous prescription error by the Mayo Clinic. I trust him in the care for my wife. Some may find the "bed side manner" of other physicians better than that of Dr. Driss's, but that is not one of my major criteria in choosing caregivers. His nurse, Carolyn, is very good, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with.

He is very knowledgeable, however, his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. He takes little consideration into what the patient wants to say, he knows best. His PA-C Mike Sassman, however, is the one to see in this office. He is courteous, and takes time to hear all the symptoms.

Difficulty obtaining prescription refills, office staff defensive and communicate poorly, the PA doesn't seem knowledgeable - I had to request tests run by a previous provider for a similar concern. Overall, just a really poor healthcare experience.
