Dr. Lon McCroskey, MD

I know he's embarking on a well-deserved retirement, but I am fortunate that he was my surgeon. He is a very kind man who 100% earned my trust.

He demonstrated a profound lack of caring and abandoned me in the hospital. April 2020 Dr. McCroskey performed a mastectomy on me. He left no instruction for pain management, and yelled at the nurse who had to call him that night. When it was time for discharge, he just walked out - and would not come back to the hospital to provide discharge instructions in my medical record. I had to work hard to get myself discharged. He just did not care about me as his patient at all - and no one deserves to be abandoned by their physician. Choose another surgeon. ANY other surgeon.

Dr McCroskey was great! He was personable and knowledgeable. He spoke to me about my medical status and my options. He was thorough in all care provided. Thank you!

Dr. McCroskey is very kind and understanding, on top of being an excellent surgeon. I have had three surgeries by him the last being for breast cancer. He saw me right away when the biopsy came back positive and saw me through chemo. I now can say I’m cancer free! You will love Dr. McCroskey if you ever need a surgeon.

I have been a patient of Dr. McCroskey for years and I wouldn't trust no other Breast Surgeon so I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon. He is very caring, is always willing to listen, don't ever rush and makes sure you are feeling comfortable about your treatment plan. He always follows up with you and explains everything for you to understand. He found two lumps that were missee on my 3D Mammogram and Ultrasound. I trust him and his staff. His staff is the best Monica and Hailey are very helpful and also so caring. Thank you !

My visits with Dr. McCroskey are annual. It is always a good experience with him! He takes his time and is thorough, not only in the exam but with how he explains my particular health issue. If you need a good doctor/surgeon, Dr. McCroskey is a great choice!

I have seen Dr. M for the last 4 years for various issues. I started seeing him in my mid thirties. He is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a doctor that specializes is breast care.

I enjoyed my visit to the doctor and the office. Answered all my questions. Gave me great feedback and clear directions going forward.

This was scary for me, friends that have had skin cancer just go to the office and have it sliced out but mine was deeper so I needed surgery. Dr. McCroskey was OUTSTANDING. He was friendly and no nonsense. He gave great detail as to what he was going to do and did it. Every person from the office staff to the 2 wonderful nurses who prepped me were wonderful and made me feel safe and comfortable at all times. The anesthesiologist was great. He made sure I wouldn't have an adverse reaction and mentioned my throat may be sore and it was not the virus. Of course I slept the 5 1/2 hours going home but I had NO pain and was just sore. The hospital called in a couple days to check how I was doing and I was doing fine. I called a week later as instructed and was informed that the cancer was gone. I am highly impressed with Dr. McCroskey, the clinic, and hospital and want to give many many thanks to all who took care of me. Also much gratitude to all who are working through this pandemic.

my visit with Dr McCroskey in Sept thru Oct 2019 was awesome and still is with the visits which I have had as follow up to the procedure. THANK YOU DR McCroskey He performed the procedure with no problem ( that I am aware of) I felt very good after the procedure was completed and Dr McCroskey gave me permission to GO HOME how great.

I have been a patient of Dr. McCrosky's for seven years and I have always found him to be very kind and compassionate. He never seems rushed and always answers all questions. He does a wonderful job explaining the procedure and what to expect. I continue to go to him for my annual check because he does a very thorough job. When he tells me things are good, I leave feeling very confident. I would highly recommend him.

The best of the best! Dr. Lon McCroskey is one of a kind. My son Bret age 34 is a 9.5-year breast cancer survivor! Because his first doctor had no idea of what he was doing. Then the hospital introduced us to Dr. Lon McCroskey! Not only is he an amazing surgeon his knowledge is amazing! I have now also been going to him since and he is so thorough about checking and doing breast self-exams with him we created Breast Self Exams, to help all Men to know how to check themselves! Dr. McCroskey was my surgeon five years ago and I have been seeing him for yearly follow-up appointments since then. He is very attentive and compassionate. Great Surgeon and a nice man on top of it!
