Dr Mina has been treating me for knee pain and last visit he provided a genicular nerve block with Phenol. After 3 days pain relief finally came, it was gradual but effective. My pain level went from 9 down to 3. He thoroughly listened to my feed back to determine the best treatment and the Phenol injections to the nerve of the knee was on point.

Good doctor, terrible staff
Dr Mina is a good doctor but his staff is terrible. He prescribed a medication for me and I provided the pharmacy info to the staff to call it in but they never did. I called them for a week to resolve it but they never did or called me back. I finally gave up and will be forced to find another doctor which is a shame because I felt he was a good one.

long wait & doctor attitude
Some of his office staff are incompetent and can not seem to get things together, even though I was told they will get my file from my surgeon. so. rescheduled and had to send all docs myself and when I complained about 3 hours of wait for procedure, he chose to give me attitude and suggested I should find another doctor because I'm complaining. very very disappointed. so I didnt get the procedure done.

Was not concerned with any of my responses to his questions. Was more concerned training his new nurse practitioner than what I had to say.

Excellent anesthesiologist and pain management Dr
Dr Mina is an exceptional anesthesiologist and pain management doctor. I was being taken in for an emergency surgery and asked to pray first beforehand. The anesthesiologist said “I will pray with you”. Due to the pain from the surgery my surgeon suggested I see a pain management Dr. I went to a visit and the Dr recognized me, he was Dr Mina. Dr Mina is personable and professional. He listens to you and cares enough about you to pray with you and comfort you. Thank you Dr Mina for all that you do to take care of me.

New Patient
I am so glad my Doctor sent me to this pain Doctor. He diagnosed my problem at the first visit. He then sent me to Liberty Physical Therapy and my pain has for the most part has now so minor that I can return to normal activity. If you are having pain that will not go away, then I suggest you make contact with them. He has a very professional staff and they are also a pleasure to deal with.

I had major back fusion surgery and once it was time for pain management I was sent to Dr. Mina. His office staff was the WORSE first impression and it went downhill from there. They are rude and unprofessional. The so called office manager won’t speak with patients when asked for and is very belligerent when approached. Dr. Mina was dismissive when I tried to explain my level of pain. He would NEVER examine me, ask where the pain was, check my range of motion or really discuss pain management. He told me what he was willing to do and that was that. Once he had an unlicensed medical student and nursing student see me first without my consent. My particular care was once discussed outside the examination room in front of the office staff, most recently May 6th when his office Manager berated me about medications I was taking in front of other office staff and anyone else in the waiting area who could overhear. I plan to report as a HIPPA violation of my privacy. Worse ever!

I liked Dr. Mina but his office manager is horrible and very rude. The office rarely answers the phone or calls back. I had to drive there, I went three times during a month time in order to ask them to please change the prescription from capsule to tablet because it was way cheaper (I don't have insurance.) They would get my name and tell me that the nurse would take care of it, but a week went by and they did nothing. The third time I was there the office manager came out and told me that she didn't appreciate me going there every other day, and that I wasn't welcomed there any longer. Then she said that my other option would be to make an earlier appointment to talk to the doctor, that would be another $175 out of pocket. She went back into the office and slammed the door. I approached the window to talk to the receptionist about scheduling a new appointment when I heard a whisper and the window was closed on my face while I was talking. I waited for half an hour and then left.

I have an excellent experience with Dr. Maged. He really cares about his patients. I have arrived to the hospital with deliver contractions I requested the lady at the front disk to contact him at 5:00am and he was not oncall. Few minutes after I arrived to the delivery room, he came and gave me the epidural. It was very smooth delivery. He was following with me patiently till discharge. Highly recommended, I am having the 2nd baby and will chose him to be my anesthesiologist.

My sciatic nerve pain was initially controlled by physical therapy. When the pain grew excessive, I was referred to Dr. Mina. He provided two steroid spinal injections separated by two months for severe sciatic nerve pain. The first injection provided minimal relief, as predicted. Following the second injection and over a five-day period my sciatic pain was reduced by nearly 100%. I stopped taking Tylenol and am weaning off Gabapentin. We will now learn how long this remedy will last.

I would not Recommend Dr. Mina to anyone! His office staff is rude and incompetent. Additionally, Dr. Mina is more interested in speaking to his transcriber so the proper language is put down for insurance reimbursement rather than speaking with the patient. He spent more than half the time telling the transcriber what to write down. Additionally, there is absolutely no chain of custody with regards to any urine sample you supply. Nothing on the specimen bottle or the brown paper bag it is put i
