I really appreciate him taking care of my mom while she has been in the hospital at Brookwood Hospital. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a ENT. He has a good personality and has the best manners that I have meet.

Dr. Routman has that perfect balance of professionalism and patient care. He is very thorough and makes diagnosis and treatment plan easy to understand. His manner puts you at ease - relieving your anxiety. He takes the time to answer any questions or concerns. He is thoughtful and you can sense his care for you as his patient.

CONSUMER ALERT! This doctor's billing office practices BALANCE BILLING. How Balance Billing Works: They bill your insurance, insurance pays a discounted rate, then this doctor's medical billing person, Sharron, bills you for the discount the insurance company receives contractually from the Doctor. This is illegal in 10++ states, but Alabama is behind on most things, including this. BUYER BEWARE!

Dr. Routman worked with my son who had a very difficult situation and performed surgery. He was very kind, patient and made sure all our questions were answered. He took the time to arrange the other Doctors who would have to assist in my sons surgery and treats my son with such patience, focus and diligence. We love this practice!!

I had a wonderful experience in Dr Routman's office. The staff was kind and courteous. Jennifer the audiologist was also very kind and took time to explain the testing to me. Dr Routman was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and didn't seem rushed at all. I'm so glad I chose to go there and I highly recommend them.
