Worst Doctor, ever
If you are unfortunate enough to have WestMed as your PCP, you are ‘forced’ to use Dr. Mutic if you are admitted to Greenwich Hospital. Dr Mutic is the self-proclaimed “God of WestMed at Greenwich Hospital.” After meeting this doctor for 15 minutes, it was clear he has no experience or insight into Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency, and I requested a new doctor that actually understands the condition. He did not understand stress dosing or the role that hydrocortisone and cortisol play. His behavior lies somewhere between incompetence and an ego to match. I was admitted to Greenwich Hospital with a 104.4F and a WBC of 18+. Instead of discussing my many prescriptions, and how I managed my Rx, Dr. Mutic looked at my recently filled prescriptions, and not only did he get 1/2 the medications wrong, they were the wrong dose and timing. His biggest crime was in pain management, where patients have to “earn” their medications. I have chronic pain from a degenerative disc disease.
