Dr. Mark Cecil, MD

I had Dr. Cecil when I had to have back surgery after pain management didn't work any longer...it has been a good 2years maybe three and have not had any problems with my back since then...he is the best...you won't regret being his patient... he is a considerate and caring human being and surgeon...I would not hesitate for him to do surgery on me again if ever needed...

Met with Dr Cecil to go over X-Rays and MRI. He took the time to explain and was very upfront about the situation I was facing. He was very patient answering all my questions and concerns. Very happy I met with him for second opinion.

Dr. Cecil is a well skilled surgeon and a great doctor overall. He performed 2 surgeries on me in April of 2022, saving me from becoming a quadriplegic, if not saving my life. He made me feel comfortable when speaking with me and took time to show me the X-rays and MRI images and explain in detail what's going on before, during and after the whole ordeal. I saw him for my back and discovered he wanted to do surgery in 2003. I was so embarrassed, but he was very kind. Explained everything to me and said he was going to help me. Showed me my X-rays and explained them to me. Dr. Cecil explained what would happen next. He took his time with me. I am very grateful that he would still help me after my big mess up from the past. I am confident that he will do everything he can!!! Thanks Dr. Cecil.

Dr Cecil operated on my lower back June 28th. He visited me every day while in hospital and answered all my questions. His girls at Omni Orthopedics were always quick to answer my questions and notify Dr Cecil of my medication needs. I can't take regular pain medication so I was taking over the counter medication but it wasn't helping with nerve pain. He prescribed the best med to help with that. It took awhile to cover that excruciating but it is helping so much! I can't thank Dr Cecil enough, he is truly a 5* surgeon and gentleman!

I have been, and will continue to be, extremely grateful to Dr. Cecil for all he’s done to help me with my back issues. Because of his help, and surgery to fuse my discs, I no longer have to walk with a cane.

Dr Cecil, in addition to being very clear about my conditions, is a very good listener! I appreciate a physician that wants to know how I feel about my medical situation, but also about concerns that are relative to any post-procedural care and my responsibilities for family members. Dr. Cecil is excellent in that regard as well as being an excellent surgeon that is held in extremely high regard by his peers!!

I just had my first visit with Dr. Cecil. I feel lucky to be a new patient of his. He explained my MRI very well with my spinal injury and Spondylolithesis. He made me very comfortable and gave me honest advice. I trust him to help me now and with possible future surgery.

23 years ago I would say it was a as good as an experience you can have with emergency back surgery. However current day, I am questioning my review as I’ve made my own proactive attempts to have my back re-examined and never Cecil. I was in there last week in agonizing pain and waited to see a Nurse who tells me to make an appointment with Cecil

First visit for second opinion. Totally impressed Took extra time to explain everything with examples sand answered all questions. After visit with him decided to have him do my surgery. Excellent visit. Could not have asked for anything more

Dr. Cecil is totally committed to me when I am there. He listens. Then he tells me how I am doing. Then says to call any time with questions.

Explains everything in detail and cares about your concerns and comments. He is very understanding and easy to talk to.

I have confidence in Dr. Cecil. He explained things well. He did my laminectomy. I am pleased with the results. I would recommend Dr. Cecil.

Dr Cecil is an awesome surgeon. He explains procedures very well and answers all questions. He did a great job on my back. I appreciate his knowledge and service. I don't leave many reviews, but he really is the best doctor I have ever seen in my 59 years. I highly recommend him.

I had 4 back surgeries prior to seeing Dr. Cecil. I went to see Dr. Cecil because I was having back issues once again, he recommended that I have a surgery to fix my problems. It ended up being a 12 hr surgery. I have never met a Dr. quite like him before. He explained things so very well to me, treated me with the up most respect, he has an impeccable bed side manner. I am absolutely happy with my experience with him. He’s probably the best Dr. that I have ever came in contact with. I highly recommend him to anyone with spine issues!! Zero complaints from me
