His Failure to Act Led to Paralysis
Dr. Kerner failed to advocate for my transfer to a tertiary care facility—a decision that had life-altering consequences. Due to this inaction and lack of appropriate medical judgment, I am now permanently paralyzed from the waist down. This was not a case of a rare or unavoidable complication. It was a direct result of negligence, of ignoring the red flags and delaying critical care that I urgently needed.

My appointments were very disorganized The office staff was unknowledgeable and uncaring They faxed documents to the wrong hospital. I had to do my own research to find that my pre surgery documents had never been done. I was given incorrect information about medications. I had to schedule my own appointments for pre OP requirements. I had to get copies of needed documents. The office staff was so unprofessional and uncaring to all other members of my health care team that their unprofessional behavior was lacking. My other health care team members were upset by their unwillingness, lack of knowledge and respect that it was upsetting to them as well as to me. They had no respect that I was a senior citizen widowed woman and they did nothing to see that my needs were met. I had to check on all documents only to find they had not been completed. I followed up on getting them all completed. I didn't have any procedure with this practice. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone

Ruined my life with unneeded fusion!
This man ruined my life. I told him I wanted no fusion and no metal in my back I woke up with both. I have limited mobility and live with daily pain. I can’t do the things I love. He said my only limitation would be that I couldn’t skydive! Try more like I can’t work! I can’t clean my house or do yard work. Can’t take care of everyday life. My back is crumbling under the pressure of this fusion. Ask about adjacent segment disease! Ask why he takes out your own vertebrae and replaces them with cages. Why didn’t he just do a decompression surgery or a laminectomy anything, but take away my life, it’s so unfair. My back is 100 times worse after surgery than before.
