Excellent, Above and Beyond Service, Professional
Telehealth
I am a patient of Dr. Stolar for over 20 years plus. He is an expert in his treatment of Hashimoto's Thyroid disease. In addition, he is an excellent internist. The professionalism and genuine kindness demonstrated by Dr. and staff are above and beyond and most important, consistent over the years. The Dr. is an active listener and addresses concerns fully. He is patient and makes every attempt to help one feel comfortable with their treatment plan. The staff respond promptly to inquiries and test results. I cannot express the gratitude that I have for this physician and his willingness to serve patients.

Dr Stolar is the best. Has been our doctor for over 30 years. Extremely knowledgeable, caring, listens to his patients and takes time to get you the right treatment or specialist (if needed). Very dedicated to his work and patients. We followed him to McHenry plus we moved to Florida. We are coming back up north to see him in August for our 6 month follow up - that's how much respect and trust my husband and I have for him. Will be a sad day for us when Dr Stolar retires, but will be happy for him when he decides to.

Dr Stolar, my doctor of 23 years, is the smartest, most caring and efficient doctor I’ve seen. Always on time if not early, listens to you and your problems and his advice is spot on and sometimes not at all what you may have thought. Simply the best!

Dr Stolar is a great listener which then leverages into his ability to provide the best care possible. He works with his patients to assess how to administer care. For instance, if the person wants to avoid a pharm solution, he will help find another alternative where possible. He is very trustworthy.

I highly recommend Dr. Stolar to anyone with endocrine issues (e.g., thyroid, diabetes, hormones). He is knowledgeable and compassionate and he treats the whole person. He's been my physician for 16 years and he's the only doctor who has ever made me feel better as a result of seeing him.

Really understands the psychology behind being diabetic. Gives good advice that is actually applicable to real life as a diabetic. Does not berate you for having high numbers, instead works with you to make lifestyle changes. Gets very excited for you when your numbers improve. Definitely an "above and beyond" doctor.

Dr. Stolar considers my time restraints and ALWAYS fits me in to his schedule when I am ill. He is extremely knowledgeable and always knows the answers to my symptoms OR refers me to a specialist out of his field. Most importantly, he doesn't have his hand on the door knob when I am in his care. He LISTENS to why I am there and thoroughly treats my symptoms. He has a wonderful bedside manor & I give Dr. Stolar the highest recommendation.

I have been going to Dr. Stolar for about 15 years and I have always received excellent care. The practice is very busy but Dr. Stolar always takes time to listen to what you tell him and take everything into consideration. He is an easy doctor to talk to which is a rare thing these days.
