Dr. Cain is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The surgery was a success. My pain did improve. His staff is rude and talk about patients when other patients are sitting in the waiting room. His nurse is gross and doesn't wear gloves to change wound dressings. I did get a post op infection, so I would expect them to at least wear gloves while changing my dressings.

Dr. Cain is a neurosurgeon who was looking at a 3 year old MRI when a 1 month old MRI was available. His conclusion (based on looking at the wrong, and dated, MRI) was "There is nothing I can do to help you, but I have a friend I can recommend". He clearly made no effort to compare a 2018 MRI to a 2021 MRI of the same - despite the fact my condition had worsened significantly. His office (administrative) staff, and more specifically Cheryl, made medical decisions affecting my health on his behalf, and presumably without his knowledge. Upon informing them of their leveraging the wrong MRI I am told I am no longer a patient because they do not accept my Blue Cross Blue Shield. From the beginning I was a cash customer - although I did get BCBS insurance effective 1/1/21.

Fantastic surgon. He did my 4th back surgery and he's better than the other 3 put together. He is totally there for his patients. He doesn't have a PA because he wants to see EVERY patient himself. His patient load is heavy but he's well worth the wait.

I needed back surgery in a bad way in 2014. My very trusted orthopedic referred me to Dr. Cain. Dr. Cain was a life saver for me. Its been 4 years now and my back is still so much better. I walked like I was constantly looking for something on the ground. I was. An answer to prayer. God guided Dr. Cains hands and helped me so much. He took time, real time to listen to me and understand the pain I was in. I refer suffering people to him all of the time. Connie his nurse, great to work with also.

Scheduled surgery for me knowing he was going to stop taking my insurance the beginning of this year and gave no warning. All of a sudden first week in January his office called and cancelled after waiting months saying they no longer were in network with my insurance.

Dr. Cain is an awesome doctor! Always very polite, welcoming, and truly wants the best for his patients! The receptionist on the other hand, is disrespectful and RUDE! He should definitely find someone to better represent his name and business.

He reviewed my films and chart before he came in to meet me. Therefore he already knew my pain. He took the time to talk to me tell me my options but did not hesitate to tell me that I would have to have surgery at some point but was never pushy. Presented all my options and I felt so much better. But do what he says to do I came back to work to fast and now I am having problems again.

I had surgery June 23, 2016. I have never felt better ! I especially love that Dr. Cain is very professional and he can relate to people exceptionally well. I believe he is one of leading Neurosurgeons in our area, that's my personal opinion. However, his staff is lacking in all areas ! They are rude, unprofessional and unorganized! They could use a upgrade !

Dr. Cain was the first doctor I felt truly took my pain and situation with appropriate seriousness. He has helped greatly with both the physical and psychological effects of an injury that has caused debilitating pain for years. He came recommended and I would recommend him to others.

Dr. Cain gave me my life back. He took my insurance, which he normally doesn't take, listened to me, believed that i was in pain, treated me with respect, didn't accuse me of drug seeking. My surgery was a success, although my disease is progressive. I face many future surgeries and he is the only surgeon I will ever want to use.

Let me explain...I would highly reccomend Dr. Cain. BUT! His staff is another issue intirely. They are rude and very ugly and unprofessional in every way. I can honestly say that I have had not one pleasant experience with the staff.
