This man needs to find a new line of work. From super poor bedside manner, to rudeness, to incompetent diagnosis, do NOT put your health in this man's hands. I have had 4 occasions to use this person at the ER. Every time, save the one time he put in stitches (maybe he should take up sewing), his inability to give a competent opinion compromised safety. He did nothing to calm the situations, each time instead, stoking fear. Emergency situations require an excellent doctor who is good with people. This guy is neither. The last time I saw him I went in with a bruised shoulder from a car wreck and he diagnosed me with two broken ribs and appendicitis. He told me I might have cancer and Crohns disease also. He was ready to cut me open and remove my appendix on the spot. I had none of these things and a 2nd opinion confirmed it. Had he actually examined me he would have never come up with such wild assertions. He was guessing. In an emergency, go elsewhere, or you might lose an organ.

Went to the ER at CHI/St. Luke’s in Lufkin, Tx. My bp has been high; I fell and hurt my back when I became dizzy. The pain has gone down my leg and there is slight swelling. I haven’t been able to keep down food since the fall. Kosciuk never examined my back or leg. He ordered an X-ray and I never saw him again! A nurse came in to release me and stayed my leg was not broke. So disappointing. I felt like he did not listen and every time I tried to say anything, he cut me off. It was a waste of time to feel degraded by a physician.

He had to worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced and I have dealt with a fair deal of ego centric under qualified doctors . He was rude and I could barely walk , I was not myself and extremely dehydrated . He wouldn’t even do my urine work because he didn’t want to give me saline ? Told me I had an ovarian cyst , not why I came in , and discharged me without a second signature or a ride he was rude and knew I wasnt feeling myself. He knew I was alone and basically threw me out . That’s why

He was fantastic! The wait was long, but that often can't be helped in the ER. But when it was my turn, he was very thorough, understanding, and listened. I wound up with a horrible diagnosis, but he was very sympathetic and instantly got me in touch with the specialist and had a treatment plan going. I can't thank him enough!! I wish he was a primary doctor too!

This week I went to the emergency room because I was feeling lightheaded and very dizzy along with that I was nauseated and shaking with a migraine and slurred speech . I got there and tell the dr I have been off my blood pressure medication because I don't have transportation or money.Well he didn't let me explain my situation. He was rude and did not treat my migraine. He was very judgemental I suffer from anxiety and have ptsd and I am disgusted and sickened by his rudeness !
