Great Surgeon that I trusted my health and life
Dr.Masha Livhits, great doctor and I am glad I meet her. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt at ease with her warm and compassionate approach. Dr. Livhits takes the time to listen my health concerns and answer all my questions. She did all possible to understand the root cause of the problem and follows through every step of the way to ensuring the best outcome. Finally she as a great surgeon, surgically remove cause of problems. I am thankful for her thorough care and dedication, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who genuinely cares about patient’s health and well-being. Thank you Dr. Masha Livhits!

Do not recommend.....go elsewhere
Dr. Livhits operated on me twice in 2018.....1st parathyroidectomy failed, so a second one was performed 2 months later. I have been in pain ever since the second surgery. My symptoms began right after the 2nd surgery and I brought them to Dr. Livhits attention. She pretty much dismissed my concerns, but eventually ordered PT, which did not help. I've since been diagnosed with occipital neuralgia and chronic migraines, neither of which I had prior to the surgery. I also feel like I am being choked....there is constant pressure and discomfort on the left side of my throat, where the surgery was directed. I've seen a number of doctors, and have been on many different meds.....and have endured numerous miserable side effects, and no pain relief. This has been every day of my life for 6 years now.

Dr. Masha Livhitz is an exceptional surgeon who recently performed a hemithyroidectomy on my daughter (young adult). We chose Dr. Livhitz carefully by considering her extraordinary experience and reviews. At the first appointment Dr. Livhitz was well read on my daughter’s record. An ultrasound was performed, provided her thoughts, recommendations, and then asked what we (the family) thought and answered our many questions. She is a very considerate physician. This surgery was my daughter’s second surgery. The first performed elsewhere. The second surgery was phenomenal. My daughter felt well, could move, eat, and walk almost immediately. No pain medicine was needed. This was remarkable compared to the first surgery. We could not have hoped for a better outcome and doctor. Dr. Livhitz, you are very much appreciated.

Rude
This doctor is honestly one of the rudest I’ve ever dealt with. She had ZERO bedside manners and thinks she’s Gods gift to doctors. Lady think again! There are PLENTY of other doctors out there that actually care and have some empathy! Do not go to her!

Horrible experience dealing with this doctor and their staff. The staff will not return your calls. When you get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment, they will tell you they will call you back to do so, yet never call back. They are exceptionally rude as well.

Dr. Livhits preformed a right adrenalectomy in March. I had complete confidence in her ability. Pre surgery she monitored my BP closely. She explained the surgery and what to expect. She is very matter of fact, a quality I appreciate. Some may see this as uncaring. Not true. She is very caring. Thank you Dr. Livhits.

Tons of problems after surgery and terrible scar. Dr. Livhits did not tell me what happened during surgery. Said everything went well. Found out from my medical records that was not true! Two months later, still having problems. Very, very disappointed with her response to my issues. Trusted UCLA, not sure I will again.

Dr. Livhits is exceptional! I live out of the area and was able to have a consultation over the phone directly with her, then set up my appointment and surgery together so that it was convenient for me when I flew down. She works with Dr. Yeh in surgery (removed my thyroid due to cancer). She was easy to get ahold of and also was able to do my follow up appointment over video. She called me personally several times to check up on me. She is so warm, smart & skilled. Surgery went perfect!
