My husband had the HoLEP procedure done almost 2 years ago. He experienced no pain and has had no complications. He is amazing!

My family member has a complex case of kidney stones and recently underwent a kidney stone surgery under the care of Dr. Dunn, and I cannot express enough how impressed we were with the entire experience. The aftercare was exceptional, leaving us confident that we were in the best possible hands from start to finish. We were so impressed by the UCLA standard of care from the outpatient surgery center, to the in office appointments. Dr. Dunn is a skilled, phenomenal surgeon and urologist. My family couldn’t be happier with his results of his surgery and the care he received.

I had done two other prostate surgery before and my problem came back after a few years and the recovery was long and painful.Dr. Dunn did holep surgery on me and kept me in hospital over night and I had no pain . My flow is very strong and every thing is good .I really appreciate what dr dunn did for me.

Dr Dunn a HoLEP for me in September 2023. I can pee again, I have no pain, no leakage, and blood stopped in about a week - My prostate was quite large (200cc). I am so glad that Dr Dunn was my surgeon, all the interactions with him and his fellows were informative and friendly. I only stayed about 27hrs at the hospital in Santa Monica - I am on the young side for a HoLEP. Thank you Dr Dunn and team!

I would like to thank Dr Dunn who performed a HoLeP procedure on me in December for his surgery skill. Everything went exceedingly well with the surgery & recovery. The surgery & post surgery recovery were almost painless with only mild burning & minimal incontinence for approximately 10 days post surgery. I did not have to use any pain medication. The overall improvement flow has been dramatic. My recovery is complete (excellent flow, no incontinence, no getting up at night). I would also like to thank Dr Dunn’s team for their help & expertise as well as Dr Patel for responding promptly and helpfully to all my questions.

Dr. Matthew Dunn is an excellent physician. I was born with a congenital abnormality and in excruciating pain. After a few years of suffering through this with countless procedures, my urologist finally referred me to Dr. DUNN who is a subspecialist. After reviewing all my test and seeing me he immediately scheduled surgery. My surgery was an eight hour surgery, which was done as a Robotic Laparoscopic procedure. Which decreased my recovery time. University hospital was wonderful, I received very good care and my stay was only from a Friday surgery to being released Sunday morning. I cannot say enough good things about this experience with Dr. Dunn.

Dr Matt Dunn is smart, kind & thoughtful. A terrific diagnostician & surgeon. A terrific human being who saved me from pain.
