Dr. Matthew Ferguson, MD

I read all kinds of good things about dr Ferguson. He did a knee arthroscopic procedure. I didn't see him at all that day. He was supposed to either come see me or tell my son how the surgery went. He did call my son, just to say I was out of surgery. I was given no warning about the nerve block I would receive, and even with assistance I fell at home. I called recently to reschedule a follow up, and his receptionist was extremely rude because I couldn't hear him. Actually mocked me. I'm done. I'll do physical therapy at home.

Dr. Ferguson gave me a no nonsense exam of my beat up knee. I don’t need surgery and need to keep up with strength exercises. Glad to have a honest exam.

Dr. Ferguson has wonderful bedside manners and really cares about his clients. He takes the time to examine and explain himself also listening and answering questions you have!!

I think he cares for his patients. He did a good job on my right shoulder surgery.

I have knee pain while walking. Dr Ferguson has given me knee injection of a lubricant and they always seen to help.

Didn’t do anything for me since I have Workmen’s Comp. insurance told me to do physical therapy that’s not gonna reattach my torn tendon still doing therapy but not helping

Makes sure that I am healing accordingly. Cares about my recovery from my surgery. Very caring Doctor

Doctor Ferguson is the most caring for his patients .he has done a full knee replacement on my right knee .gone back in there on the same knee to clean out due to it being affected but overall he the doctor I trust at this point.he listens to his patients and answer all questions

My experience with Dr Ferguson began as a patient admitted thru UMC Emergency with a broken ankle & torn ligament resulting in surgical repair, surgery was successful. Clinic check-in for appointments have been immediate. Post-Op visits during recovery have gone well, wait times for X-Rays and to see the doctor have been under 15 minutes. Dr Ferguson has explained X-Rays, progress and expectations in detail at each visit. Dr Ferguson and all staff members have exhibited professional, friendly, and excellent compassionate patient care.

Very comfortable timely manner professional staff attentive would greatly recommend to others needing these services.

Dr. Ferguson has been a superb physician from the first office visits to a total knee replacement and manipulation under anesthesia. He is a surgeon who listens, cares, responds in a timely manner on the patient portal and takes pride in his work. You immediately know he is interested in your case and care. I would give him more than five stars if the choice were available.

Dr Ferguson has performed two procedures on me. A knee Arthroscopy and a Rotator cuff/tenodesis. They were done with all expectations being met. Dr Ferguson cleaned out and repaired my shoulder even though it took more surgical time than was predicted. The extra effort he put in on me has made him my Ortho doc of choice. He has also seen my two teenage children with sports related injury's. I recommend him for any and all sports medicine issues.

I could not be more pleased with the care I received from Dr. Ferguson. I work in the operating room with him, and have always seen him take excellent care of his patients. I chose him to take care of me because of this care. To be able to have full range of motion, do what I want and be pain free is all I can ask for. I am very pleased with my results from my rotator cuff repair. I highly recommend him for anyone who is seeking an orthopedic surgeon!
