Mistake-prone
I needed wisdom teeth removed a few years ago, and he insisted on only removing two despite my requests for all of them to be removed. Now the other two wisdom teeth are giving me problems and I will once again have to go through wisdom tooth surgery and the follow-on recovery process. Obviously, I will not be going to Gauthier.

Office, billing and scheduling
I scheduled an appointment with this office (Dr Gauthier) as a new patient. I took the day off work, without pay, to make this appointment. I received a call a few days prior to my appt from a woman that I must move up my appt by 30 minutes and if I can't accommodate then the Dr can't see me! This is extremely unprofessional and rude! I agree to come in early; I have the entire day off. The MORNING OF my appointment, I get a voice message the Dr is sick and cancelled my appt. I understand people get sick, however, moving the appt up to an earlier time a few days prior and then cancelling the day of, leads me to believe I'm not a priority and they came up with the 'sick' excuse, leaving me high and dry. In addition, this office makes you pay up front for any services etc, and the patient must collect the reimbursement from the insurance company?! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Allan
