Highly recommend Dr. Albala
Dr. Albala is one of the most caring Drs. around. He always asks how my pain is doing when I enter the room and adjusts my meds as needed, explains procedures that are needed so I can understand. While doing all procedures he always makes sure I am comfortable so I feel no pain and tells me to call him if there is a problem. The. Receptionist Stephanie is the best she is so sweet she will go out of her way to help you. And have you met Dr. Albala's wife? She helps out to she's great sweet as pie to. Such a GREAT TEAM. I wouldn't go any place else.

Don't waste your time
Went to see him after my current doctor was relocating. He prescribed me 1 month of my current pain meds at that time. The next visit he wanted to do injections and when I refused he told me the pain was in my head and pulled me off all meds. Then the lady at the desk told me she didn't understand why he does that because they have patients with far less problems then I have and he prescribed them the strongest pain med out there. I don't recommended him unless you want to waste your time. Also he runs his business out of a hole in the wall wannabe clinic.

I love that my neurosurgeon referred me to Dr. Albala. He is a knowledgeable kind man who understands my pain and explains exactly what his plan is. I’m so glad he opened his own clinic. I will be his patient until he decides to retire. He deserves it but I pray it never happens.

This was the WORST pain doctor I have had by far. I have had a couple, because I have had to move a couple of times in the last 10 years & him & a lot of his staff are the most unsympathetic bunch I have had the displeasure of working with. I am lucky if I actually get to go into an exam room, he has not asked about my pain but once since I have been seeing him (a year now) and at least two of his receptionist are the rudest people I have ever seen in a professional setting. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE if you want relief. He does not explain why he is doing something if he changes something after the fact, like changing a medication or dropping a doseage when he sends in a refill & he often forgets stuff. I go in for an appointment & he will tell me something & when I ask about it later he looks at me like I'm crazy. Save yourself the headache & go somewhere else. I hope I can save someone from the misery I'm in. Also it seems that they all have forgotten they are in the medical field

After 42 years of pain Dr Alabala gave me two months of excellent care and pain relief. He is a master of pain relief. Regrettably my clinic did not hire him full time and patients are again suffering. Go see this doctor to get great care. If you have trouble understanding the doctor just stop him and ask him to repeat or explain. Great doctor!

Dr. Albala listens and explains things that you can understand. He is a very caring doctor. I have had many appointments with him and he was wonderful compared to other doctors I have dealt with. I would recommend him to my family and friends!

I was treated by Dr. Albala for about 3 years and absolutely love him as a physician! As others have stated, he took the time to connect with me and worked hard to make my quality of life comfortable. Despite the current beliefs in this country, where you are treated like a criminal if you have pain issues, I never felt that way with him. He was very compassionate and I felt he genuinely cared about my well being. As another former patient commented, Aurora has lost a valuable practitioner and the department is the worse for that.

I absolutely love Dr. Albala!! Aurora screwed up letting him go. He was the only doctor who actually listen, cared and treated my pain. Now, Aurora refuses to treat my pain even though I was managed by Dr. Albala. They have turned their backs and kicked me out the door. Sad that they would rather make money than invest in actual patient care!!

this guy gave me coritizone injections and it went really good, i have had other doctors not freeze the area to be injected good and it hurts bad, but he does a great job, he had done my lower back ,lower neck/shoulder ,and outter shoulder area. i would highly reccomend him, he also took the time to read over my history and discussed it making me feel he took the time to get to know my many years of back problems,.

I started seeing Dr. Albala in 2011. He has been the only Dr. that I feel has understood and really showed that he cared. Even with full case load he takes the time to connect and works hard get to the root of the problem then does his best to solve it. He is very compassionate and looks for best options for his patients. He left the clinic I was at in '14. I have been afraid get my radio frequency by anyone else. Im praying see him soon as no other doc can compare
