From the moment I walked into the office I felt very welcomed. Dr. Metcalf was on time for my appointment, explained everything extremely well, and made me feel very comfortable. I'm very happy with the referral to Dr. Metcalf and would recommend her and her staff.

Dr. Metcalf delivered my daughter to me after an intense 3 days of an unnecessary ordered induction by another Dr no longer with the practice. It was an intense moment and it seemed like noone else in the delivery ward would listen to my concerns but she was finally reached, realized the severity of the situation and called for an emergency csection right away. Metcalf is the reason that I am going to this practice even though I live in Waynesville. I want her to deliver my next baby in May.

Left me go for 2 years with giant fibroid and needing surgery. Went somewhere else and got it done. Even he colleagues treat you nasty. Billing lady hateful to all.

Dr Metcalf is wonderful. She delivered my first born and has taken great care of me during my second pregnancy. I always feel that my concerns are listened to and validated and she has always gone the extra step to be sure about any potental issues during my prenatal care.

Dr. Metcalf is a wonderful doctor. She takes the time to explain what she's doing and is very gentle. She always answers any questions and concerns I have. Her staff is great too - the are all very friendly and responsive to messages. Anytime I have sent an email through the patient portal I get a response from her assistant in less than two hours. The front desk staff is very friendly at this office too.

No thorough exam. As a matter of fact, she didn't even do a breast exam even though I have had breast cancer! She didn't listen to my concerns about my sexual anatomy problems, instead she shoved me out the door with a business card for a sex counselor.

Visited a few mo the ago. She was screaming at her office staff. Thought it was a bad day for her but went back and she was crying the entire visit. I don't think she likes her job. This was several mo the apart. Her exam was rough and my copay was high. Spent less than 5 minutes with me.

While Dr. Metcalf was very nice, it took her two office visits to get a successful pap test. Her staff had problems trying to take my blood pressure and worst of all, even though I didn't have a co-pay, they charged me a $75 one and 3 months later, I'm still waiting for my refund. How is it that they're quick to take my money and ridiculously slow to return it? Sadly disappointed... Will NOT be back!

I will not be back to this practice!! It was a waste of my money!! Went in to get a yearly and Dr Metcalf did nothing but a swab!! Not worth the money or time!! Not a very good doctor in my opinion!!
