Dr. Bial was my Mom’s former doctor for approximately 5 years. We thought we had found the one. We developed a wonderful relationship, so we thought and then she and her entire staff ended up doing the unthinkable. Dr. Bial had been prescribing my mom narcotic medication for as long as she was a patient. In early 2020 due to the epidemic of heavy drug use, Dr. Bilal had told my mother her very last appointment that she was going to prescribe one more month, and then it was going to be more options implanted. My mom agreed and showed understanding, and left it there. We had to call month to month, to make sure the script got written and effectively sent over to the pharmacy. We did and Dawn who was her nurse I believe at the time answered. And responded “you’ve tested positive for Hydromophone” (I probably spelled it incorrectly). This was news to us, because each time my mom went to have her urine tested she never had any problems. My mom never engaged in any other strange activities, and now all of sudden you’re trying to accuse my mother of that??? It was just exhausting shady and wrong, how she conducted herself evolving around this situation. My mom was supposed to be under a docs care, to wing herself off the opioid… due to Dr. Bilal dismissing us from the practice, because we spoke our mind due to being lied on. My mom was even more pain, because she had to completely wing herself off of this and she was behaving like a drug addict for 2-3 months. It was insane! But she was terrible! Because all she was willing to do is prescribe opioids, and not any other alternatives to help the pain my mom was in.

Words cannot express how poor this dr is. Dr bilal. My wife who has horrible pain issues went to see Dr bilal. She suggested one medication that made my wifes problems worse. My wife has called back multiple times over the last few weeks following the appointment and Dr Bilal will NOT return calls. What a Joke. DO NOT waste your time seeing this dr. Appearantly Dr Bilal has one prescription of which is prescribed then has no ideas. Its sad when a patient has pain issues and a dr like this cant even bother to call back. It she were not such a waste of time I would find a way to get there md removed from her name. As a professional in the community myself, i see no excused for worthless person like this. Dont waste your time on this inexperienced person who doesnt help patients and has no idea what they are doing.

I had been seeing Dr Bilal for her quick and assumptive diagnosis of PsA, started med, was on it about a yr. Then i suddenly started having the most terrible and scary symptoms I've ever experienced, reached out to the office who gave no explanation but said she couldnt see me for 6 wks, to “take some photos and we’ll send some steroids”. I could barely move due to pain & swelling. I called 3 more times in that 6 wks, told the same. Basically left completely alone and scared. At the 6 wk appt, she laughed, said she’d been on vacation, why didnt i see her associate. No one told me or offered that! She said well maybe you dont have what we are treating you for & listed several other “maybes”. I said I was upset with the whole event, she told me could request to have records sent elsewhere. I have never experienced this kind of treatment from a doctor I was under the care of or felt that hopeless, helpless, and scared due to such mismanagement & lack of caring or apology for the events.

You're on your own
I waited 10 months to see Dr. Bilal and I'm not exaggerating when I say I spent more time in the elevator going to her floor than she spent examining and treating me. I've had more comprehensive care from a pharmacy assistant. There was zero concern or consideration for my pain, inflammation, medicine side effects or progression of the disease since I was last seen by a specialist. Unless you're already doing well, I would strongly encourage you to find a different specialist so you receive actual treatment. I left the appointment feeling worse than when I walked in and completely demoralized.

I'm not sure if this was an issue with the nurse staff or Dr. Bilal herself, but I was taken off of a medication in order to start a new one, it took longer than expected to get approved, started having the most terrible and scary symptoms I've ever experienced, reached out to Dr. Bilal (through the nurses, that's the only way to contact her) and was ignored, endured numerous issues due tmiscommunication, and basically left completely alone and literally asked "what I wanted her to do" to help me. I see a Pain Management doctor, this was not an issue of wanting meds and not receiving them. After I was ignored, I asked if she was going to treat me or if I should seek out another doctor, was told they'd be waiting for my request to have records sent somewhere else. I have never experienced this kind of treatment from a doctor I was under the care of or felt that hopeless, helpless, and scared because the doctor I trusted to care for me refused to offer me any help.

Excellent Dr. Very patient and caring. Discusses the problem in detail and formulates an excellent management plan. IMO, Those who have posted negative reviews are probably drug seekers who try to abuse the system, and are left frustrated when they can't get their way through. Have a life, losers!
