Dr. Melissa Schwartz, DO

Waited almost an hour before Dr. Schwartz examined me. She was slightly brusque and practices conventional medicine. I had to ask all the questions which seemed to annoy her. Most of the other staff were unmasked at the height of the flu season and Covid still around. In an ENT office? You could see any number of other ENTs around the area and get the same treatment.

Dr. Melissa Schwartz is a competent doctor for general ENT and allergy issues. I was referred to her after being in a serious MVA and having head, ear, and cervical spine trauma. I developed many problems with my ears, including constant tinnitus, from the MVA. I never had these problems before and never saw an ENT. After explaining my symptoms to Dr. Schwartz, she actually asked me if I was making this up! I was speechless that a doctor would present oneself that way! She did some ear testing afterwards and saw the failed results in my ears. She did refer me out to other specialists where I was handled in a more professional manner. I ended up needing extensive spinal surgery and my ears, to this day, still have constant tinnitus and problems.Because of this statement from her, I cannot recommend her as a professional doctor.

I went in for a problem with sinus. When I first got there the receptionist asked if I had been sent paperwork to fill out. I hadn't. She admonished me that it was supposed to be filled out before arriving. She was unpleasant. I did not get to see the doctor, I saw an assistant. She had them do a Hearing test but that wasn't my issue. She prescribed steroids and said I needed a scan. I asked her to write it down. She wrote it on scrap paper. They gave no indications of where to get the scan. I chose the hospital across the street and called them back to get the authorization. The never called with authorization and when I called themback they told me I did not need it. Now I am trying to make the appointment. The person at the hospital couldn't believe that I did not receive an official scrip for the scan. They need info (with contrast.without) not on the scrap paper. Additionally she said I must have the official paperwork. I am not any better, and I am aggravated by the run around.

Dr. Schwartz is an excellent doctor, she is very helpful, very caring and a great diagnostician. She is the best ENT, I would recommend Dr . Schwartz to anyone .

Came in with totally clogged ear. Left hearing great! Great visit!

I really appreciated my visit with Dr. Schwartz! I was seen promptly. Dr. Schwartz was straightforward and very helpful in her assessment and information provided about my concern. I will definitely be continuing to see her as needed.

Dr. Schwartz is an excellent doctor. She is a great diagnostician and has a calming and caring way about her. She is very thorough and really cares about her patients. She is exceptional and I would highly recommend her.
