Dr. Michael Harris, MD

Dr. Harris the only Gastro I would ever go to. I have a complicated issue which requires an annual colonoscopy. He explains everything thoroughly. I will not move to lose Dr. Harris!

Absolutely THE WORST office staff to have ever existed! I called on a Wednesday and explained that i'd like an appointment due to being diagnosed with internal bleeding from my PCP. The office staffer asked me to send the referral and she would set me up with a STAT appointment. I called the next day asking if they had received my referral and asked if I could speak to that same person. I was told she wasn't available but would call me back later. I'm suffering here and was hoping that since I followed her instructions, she would hold up her end of the bargain. Called up the office again on Friday and was told that the last person I spoke to didn't perform her job correctly and that my paperwork would go to the office manager. Come Monday and still no return phone call from anyone. I called on Tuesday and spoke to another employee and was told they don't take any new patients!!!!! Why wasn't this mentioned to me the week prior? Absolutely incompetent and useless employees.

Dr. Harris saved my life! Period wud I recommend him?? ABSOLUTELY I Would .... I had been in fl and was miss diagnosed at 3 diff hospitals and almost died when I met Dr Harris is was in stony brook N.Y. at the hospital there .. he then became my doctor because they found my chron' s right away I had to have 2 blood transfusions and was in really bad shape he made me feel comfortable and changed my quality of life and I'm sure he doesn't realize how important in my life he Is! Thanks mike!

Dr Harris is a very professional, kind physician. I was very impressed with the care he provided me. My only issue was getting an appointment soon after the colonoscopy. However, he did move my appointment up when I called back due to the pain I'm experiencing.

I had an endoscopy procedure today. Dr. Harris is the most professional, informative GI doctor I have ever had. I have had many Doctors since having Crohns Disease now for 40 years. He listened to me and was very humble. I am very grateful to have him as a doctor.

The office staff was prompt and professional. Dr. Harris presented himself very professionally and has a great bedside manner. I had been suffering with IBS-D for over five years and had become homebound. He was the fourth GI doctor I had seen looking for relief. Dr. Harris prescribed a new medication, Viberzi . It has made a HUGE difference in my life!! I now can leave the house and make plans. I have and will recommend him!
